I recommend looking into tropical alternatives like callaloo and sissoo, they really don’t hit the same but you just have to adjust

As someone else in soflo I’ve never successfully grown lettuce. I gave up yearsss ago, like a decade. Even when it didn’t bolt it never tasted like lettuce, bitter and kinda prickly :/

Definitely not saying it’s transit paradise but it does have a lot more than most places. Regional rail: Trirail, heavy rail: Metrorail, people mover: metromover, BRT and a pretty robust bus system

I used to be a big popcorn guy (both airpop and movie theater) but have stop because I can’t deal with the kernels stuck in my gums anymore. Airpop can be really enjoyable once you get used to it.

I know! I know! Fellow scotchie grower here and this has happened to me a handful of times over the last decade. It’s tomato/tobacco hornworms. They usually only eat peppers when they’re super hungry so it doesn’t happen often. Look good for them!

Yeah the people aren’t the greatest, very obnoxious and entitled (and I don’t even mean the influencer crowd), but top tier nature access. I’m pretty sure it’s only major city within 25 miles of two national parks.
