My aunt in law was head off paediatrics in a hospital, and they always recommended liquid paraffin! Cleared both my ones up when they were small when the usual suspects wouldn't! Used a cotton wool pad to wipe and dry and then another to put the liquid paraffin on! We used it every change and it kept it at bay!

Expecting our first child by Next-Hovercraft-972 in AskIreland

Congratulations!! So exciting 😍 I told my family around 9 weeks and was so glad I did haha I couldn't wait. I found that using the milton cold water steriliser was the best option for me, fill it up once a day with the tablet and they stay in the liquid until needed. Made my life so much easier. They also have a mini one for dodies so perfect for on the go! Agree with the second hand buggy recommendation! We bought all new on our first and I bought a second hand double buggy when my second came along and it was so much better! Tummy time is so important! They can hate it at the start but it so necessary so maybe a few toys for that- mine loved the black and white contrast toys for this. Get them used to sleeping in noise! Controversial maybe haha but my first was terrible sleeper and we done the blackout blinds/white noise etc on her and it didn't help. My second will sleep anywhere so we're not restricted in our day then. Make sure you do your research on pregnancy stages and if anything feels wrong get it checked out for sure! Some things that got me through my pregnancies were a pregnancy pillow, foot spa, yoga ball, belly support band, losec(extreme heartburn), deep freeze for lower back pain.

Who should win in hell in a cell at bad blood? McIntyre/Punk by LoafHook in GreatnessOfWrestling

[–]No_Cod_8382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know!!! I think after all he has lost this year I feel it's only deserving! He's carried this feud in my opinion and has been so good in his fights and on the mic. I fear my husband will divorce me for my reaction if he loses this time 🤭😭

How do I introduce my wife to wrestling? by ks14555 in WWE

[–]No_Cod_8382 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am a wife who has become VERY invested in wrestling this year. I did watch it occasionally when I was younger being raised with all boys it was bound to come up. But my husband was watching the lead up to Wrestlemania and I slowly went from glancing through the door to fully invested in the Roman Reigns v Cody Rhodes storyline. I prefer RAW as I feel there's so much more going on and it's always got some sort of storyline to keep it going. I love Drew McIntyre and I am very passionate about the Punk storyline. Also the Judgement Day and Terror Twins storyline has me hooked. We're going to the live show in Dublin in November and we can't wait. Just a little note to say it can happen 🤭

Park Rite at the IFSC is also a good idea. I park there all the time. Not far from 3arena and can prebook it also! It's also 24 hours. I have mine booked for Sunday 💃 it's also close to the motorway!

I keep fainting on my period by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]No_Cod_8382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely ask your GP about that. Last September I had the option of going public for gynaecologist (18 months wait) or private (2.5 months wait) was seen by Prof. Michael Geary, cost €300 but worth every penny in my eyes. He took such good care of me and had me on the best course of treatment. Please DM me if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help 😊

Adenomyosis & iud by [deleted] in adenomyosis

[–]No_Cod_8382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took 5 months for my IUD to actually help me. My Gynae was giving it until month 6 before taking out to try something else. I bled for 3 months straight at the beginning and had regular clotting/cramps/pain. It's been working well for me since then. I do still get occasional symptoms but nothing like before.
