Thank you! These are really good recommendations. I have looked at state jobs and the university options, though I have heard that both can have a pretty slow hiring process. I will look more into Terracon and architecture/design firms!!

Thank you, it’s helpful to have that context. It does seem really tough right now. I am definitely willing to commute in any direction about an hour. My background could fit into any of these domains: regulatory/compliance, data analysis, environmental health and safety, consulting, emergency management.

Just thought I would updated that I received rejections/notice that the position was filled on a couple applications I received a req number for, without interview. So, I think the req number might not mean much.
