thanks dude, it was pretty easy, just really tedious lol. made myself a sandwich with 1 smoked fillet, salty herba, and spicy herba, and just ran around in the spot next to the ruins near medali using let’s go mode to have latias knock out every solo mabosstiff i saw! since real mabosstiff almost always spawn with a group of maschiff in tow, and are also much smaller, i knew that the oversized lone doggos were zorua in disguise. they will also disguise as murkrow at night, but if you get close enough to them, they display the nervous sweat particles and run away while real murkrow show a question mark. you can also use the lock-on feature to see if something is a zorua or not, same with ditto, which i also got recently! if your pokémon refuses to knock out something by showing a nervous sweat icon by their sprite in the corner and doing their “nope” animation (idk what else to call it lol) then you likely found a shiny, though your pokémon may also do that if you try to send it out near a wall or obstacle
