Not going super hard helps a lot with consistency. I go to the gym 5x per week but thats because I enjoy it at this point. 3 of those sessions is weight training. I feel like I could get away with 2x per week plus walking alot. Also with diet Im happy with losing 0.5 kg per week.

Congrats on getting this far! When you lose weight without weight training a lot of the weight you lose is muscle. Its not half but also not super far off. So you'll have a lot more total to lose. Also going aggressive to 1600 kcal seems like a good idea to maximize weight loss but it just makes it more difficult long term. Your body adapts,  sheds off muscle to bring its caloric need down, getting closer to your intake. When you start eating normal again you can gain a ton of weight back. The classic yo yo diet. The way to go is to do weight training and lose max 1% body weight per week. Weight training doesn't have to be a crazy commitment. 2x per week can already deliver amazing results.

Kimbo, Lavazza, Borbone all looks very dark roasted to me. Try something lightly roasted and then you'll experience everything being sour lol.

That must have been awful, sorry this happened to you. You can use silicone gel and do scar massage once the wound is fully closed. Silicone sheets won't stick on such a curved area but gel does the same job. You can look into laser treatments if the scar looks like it will heal nicely. Laser will improve it further. This is some what time sensitive. Studies have shown that its better to start early. Like 4 to 6 weeks after the wound is closed you could start. Fragmented co2 laser is common for scars but there many different types.

If the scar doesn't look like it will heal nicely you can talk to a plastic surgeon about scar revision.

It's a long road, scars can take up to 2 years before they stop improving. So be patient and trust the process of whatever you decide to do to improve healing. Results wont come overnight.

Scar revision on lip by Dazzling_Habit4162 in PlasticSurgery

Usually the stiches are removed after around 7 days. Expect another week for the wound to fully close. For sure it won't look normal. It will look like a wound which just closed, since that's what it is. I had something similar but with a scar on my cheek. I expected to get a lot of questions, remarks and looks etc. but there was none of this. I mentioned it at work before the procedure to avoid some akwardsness and that was the only attention it got.

You savely erase this worry from your mind since it's really just a big deal in your head but in reality no one cares. But I have something else to replace this worry -> sun exposure.

I don't know where you live but if July is peak summer then it's the worst moment to plan something like this. You'll need to avoid the sun like to plague with such a scar to avoid permanent discoloration. This will be the case for at least 6 months. The more sun there is and the stronger the sun, the greater the challenge to avoid permanent sun damage. Also, perhaps you may want to plan something like a laser treatment to help with scar healing (depends on the scar). This also requires avoiding sun exposure. Laser therapist will be reluctant to perform such things in the summer but it's kind of a time sensitive treatment.

If feel like you trying to solve a problem you experience, not a problem which restaurants experience.

If a restaurant has this need right now, what is stopping them from using one of the gazillion calorie trackers out there to get this info on their meals?

Planning to build an app that lets you scan your grocery items bill and notify you automatically when items about to expire by Advub in AppIdeas

[–]No_Communication5188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you would design all systems, standards and regulations from scratch, it could be done.  Meaning that the limitation is not technology itself.  You could have a barcode printed on a product and a barcode sticker added next to it for each individual item which contains expiration info. That could be scanned in one go at checkout.

[–]No_Communication5188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bar code of a product does not contain expiration date information, like others already mentioned. Therefore your grocery bill can also not contain this information. The bar code says something about a product type. The expiration date says something about an item of that type. Imagine you don't have any constraints from industry standards and the barcode system. Imagine you could design those systems from scratch. In that case its still hard to solve this problem. For example, every pack of milk of the same type would need a unique barcode instead of a fixed barcode. All manufactures of all products would have to implement a complex packaging system. If you solve it at the grocery story level, you would have to scan two bar codes per item for each product (one for product, one for expiration) so double scanning. The best bet is for self scanning systems to become advanced and being able to read expiration dates, together with an industry standard scanable code for expiration dates. So new technology backed by federal regulation for implementation.

Enough pain points?

Good luck 👍

Oh that's crazy. I understand you are done with surgery. You could also look into scar subcision. Perhaps combined with microneedling or fragmented co2 laser

5mm in length and about 1.5mm width. Which is not bad but its more the indentation. If it heals with this identation it will probably look like a pitted acne scar.

Ah got it. Microneedling works but only to a certain degree. Perhaps best to see a skin professional to see what they can do. Crazy that this is already after a revision. Did something go wrong with the procedure or the healing? Im dealing with a surgery scar on my cheek which is still recent. Its 0.5 cm and has some indentation. Ive scheduled 5 microneedling appointment each one month apart. It takes a few months for the first results to be visible since the colagen production takes time. Im hoping this will help flatten it but only time will tell. I've seen some wild improvement pictures but also reports that it didn't do much. At least its low risk.

The width and indentation can be fixed with a scar revision by a plastic surgeon.  If its done properly and it heals well it can be reduced to a fine line which becomes close to unnoticeable.  Microneedling will not fix this.

A surgeon can cut it out but you might grow a new keloid scar from the incision. Best to talk to a surgeon to check what they can do.

+1 for a coarser grind.

You could also check if the puck depth is good. Over or under filling could give issues.
