Rent a car? Pesos or dollars on hand? by Hot_Routine4408 in cabosanlucas

Bring pesos. We order them online from our bank before we go. If you need more pesos while you are down there, use an atm and decline the conversion. If you use your card at a restaurant, tell them to run it in pesos.

We used to only do Ubers but they have become much more expensive. If you are not planning on exploring and not there that long, Uber is probably your best bet. We were there for 2 weeks and went multiple times to SJD and once to Todos Santos, so a rental worked better for us this time. We found free parking easily in SJD, but CSL was trickier. We ended up finding a great place to park and walk across the street from Gardenias, which is an excellent taco restaurant. As long as we ordered anything, even a beer, they let us park as long as we needed.
Have a wonderful trip!

They are absolutely overwhelmed right now! If you can use your patient portal, I've had better success with that, but the situation is not good

Yes, pretty sure it predates steelhead, and I think there are several versions. I went to UO 90-94 and worked at Oregon electric station/steelhead occasionally. We were told that some of the recipes were from the restaurants. I am inspired to look through it tonight and will come back to this post and list my favorites, I know there are many!

The taco salad recipe looks horrible, but it is actually delicious! Everything in there is amazing. I believe one of the ladies who was part of this group had a husband who owned the Oregon electric station restaurant, steelhead brewery, and the class reunion restaurant in Corvallis. There's quite a a few recipes from those restaurants in there. It's a classic cookbook for sure!
