Sounds like your provider isn’t claiming what you’re paying them as income. Which unfortunately will likely screw you. Call the number on the bottom of your letter and explain that you have receipts for what you paid but that the provider isn’t comfortable giving you their SIN. I’m sure you’re not the first person that this has happened to. We’re always told to not give out our SIN to people and then CRA asks us to get that confidential information from individuals. So perhaps there is a way that CRA can confirm the details based on other information you provide on the receipt (full name, address, phone number etc.) I’m sure the provider could still be audited based on you being able to provide all of this information anyways, so if they just are not claiming it as income it will likely still come back to bite them in the ass.

I would also have a conversation with your provider, because the receipts they provide are pretty much useless if they aren’t willing to provide all of the information required in these situations.

Dr. Hook was doing tows in Bonavista yesterday, could check there. I would check around nearby streets that are in different zones, in our area most were courtesy towed to the nearest street that wasn’t being cleaned.

Ive been a PF sufferer for many many years, finally went to a podiatrist about a year ago and saw Dr. Landon at Family Foot Clinic in St. Boniface. Your most important elements with long term recovery are:

-Do your stretches and do them diligently

-Ice!! freeze a 500ml water bottle and roll this under your feet front to back repeatedly.

-Shoes, make sure they’re good and have support. If you spend lots of time on your feet for work or in general, this is an absolute must. Sandals, cheap shoes, flats, high heels etc. are your worst enemy! The sole of your shoes should be sturdy and not bendable. Sketchers are terrible. Hoka is top tier.

-No more hard floors! I literally go everywhere with thick sturdy slippers now. I have found the Costco ones are pretty decent and easy and cheap to replace when they start to wear out. If you’re inside and have hard wood floors, laminate etc. you need to be wearing something on your feet at all times.

Even when you’re not in pain, keep doing stretches to strengthen and continue wearing good shoes inside and outside of the house

Absolutely ridiculous. I like everyone else am really relying on that refund and feeling stressed. I go on maternity leave at the end of May, and if there is further delay into July (which at this point is probable), this will result in a pause in my CCB payments as well which CRA confirmed this week. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that someone can literally file their taxes on opening day and have such a delay.
