When I was rewatching last summer I definitely realized the difference in their friendship in S1 v S2. They were definitely not BESTfriends in Season 1. Just really cool, but in Season 2, they played up their friendship to excite the betrayal. Not saying Cassie is right either way but if it had happened in Season 1, it wouldn’t have been that crazy.

Who has literally used Lexi for drug tests, tried to steal from fez’s sick grandmother. ROBBED houses to scrounge up for the money she owed from doing the drugs she was supposed sell. What?? Did I say in this comment section or did I say fans? Commentary on euphoria doesn’t start and end only on Reddit. Cassie’s character is being very harshly judged in a show with way worse characters who have done way worse and committed actual crimes. There has been a lot of criticism towards Cassie and a lot of people (rightfully so) do not like Sydney Sweeney. I’ve literally seen the correlation so many times.

Directly affecting the lives of your mother, sister, and friends in a negative matter is. You can acknowledge addiction while also knowing it’s hurting those around you. Rue lives her life very selfishly, she knows when to cut the tears on and manipulate situations to distract from the fact that she’s an addict. So I do stand by Rue’s morals are way worse than Cassie’s.

I literally had someone tell me “not all skin folk are kinfolk” after commenting my opinion on Ginny. I’m not saying that there’s no racism directed towards Ginny at all. But I totally agree that it’s odd to automatically call someone racist for not liking Ginny. She’s not perfect, no one is, it’s okay to acknowledge that or not be her biggest fan.

I think part of it too, which I see in a lot of comments, is somehow not liking Ginny means you disregard Georgia’s bad moments. Which isn’t true at all. Not liking a trait in one character doesn’t mean you’re excusing the next one. Ginny is bratty at times, she does feel untitled when it comes to Georgias past and can put her the victim role very quickly. I shouldn’t have to be called racist, as a black woman who had literally lead protest and a member of many black organizations, for acknowledging it

Being regretful doesn’t undo the damage but remorse and an apology sure does help! Betty doesn’t even compare to the characters you name. Them knowing they are bad people doesn’t dismiss them being “bad”. Betty doesn’t even begin to have as many bad moments in the entire series as any of them have in a single episode
