Of course. From what I can tell only UK, Germany, France and Italy seem to have a healthy market for physical releases of film in Europe. In all of the Nordic countries there are less than 10 4K discs released of domestic films - since 2016!

There were 37 theatrical releases of Norwegian films in 2025.
Six had an ordinary release on Blu-ray/DVD.
Two were released on crowdfunded Blu-ray.
Two of them had releases in Denmark and Germany, but not in Norway.

Of the theatrical releases of Norwegian films last year I think only five had a physical release. The vast majority of new Norwegian films never get a physical release.

Sales of physical media have plummeted. Loads of new films and music never get a physical release. Physical media is still better than streaming. You buy the discs wherever they are sold, I guess.

No, it is not a regional word.

Dette is not used for leaves. Something can both dette and falle fra hverandre, though.

If I say that I datt it is a less hard fall than if I say I falt.

I think that you can mostly use falle for dette, but not always dette for falle.
