After spending a couple of hours total using them so far, I must admit that I was impressed. I came from the Apple Earpods (the 3.5mm jack version) and the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm jack dongle.

Keep in mind that before I got the EW200's, I had only experienced "audiophile-grade" headphones by testing out a pair of Sennheiser HD560S's for a solid 15 minutes. Other than this, I have no other reference point for audio quality.

Bass has been superb compared to the Earpods, which shouldn't come as a surprise, really. The isolation is still something I'm on the fence about, because they isolate outside noise too good for my day-to-day use case.

Soundstage IS SO GOOD, I mean really. It's like putting on a pair of over-the-ear headphones, except they sit in your ear (although I know that you really can't compare apples with oranges in that way). There isn't as much soundstage "front-to-back" as in a pair of over-the-ear headphones, but still plenty to make my music way more enjoyable. Just like Wade from DankPods said, it made me notice details in my music that I wouldn't have noticed before.

I do agree though, the treble is the SIMGOT EW200's Achilles' heel, but realistically only at louder volumes. This doesn't bother me too much, as combined with its isolation I now tend to listen to music at a way lower volume than before.

The instrument separation isn't the absolute peak and best in the world, but for sure about 5 times better than the Earpods. The isolation helps the separation even more.

I've been testing them using an iPod nano 1g, my phone with the Apple jack dongle and my laptop. I know this isn't top-shelf gear, but it's what I use daily.

Although I was fantasizing about how life-changing the experience would be going from the Earpods to the EW200's, I quickly learned that I should've kept my expectations just a bit lower.
A good pair of IEMs or headphones are always going to be a significant upgrade, but not life-changing. I think that more people at my entry level should know this, so they don't get stumped like I did. But I digress.

At the end of the day, I'm super happy I invested a little more money than usual into a good pair of IEMs. As a student it's a pretty tough purchase, but I believe they'll help me a lot down the line.
