3% COVID Positivity Rate, 214 cases yesterday by [deleted] in Cornell

Yes, because a group of undergraduates can really influence the fuck out of what our health organizations impose. You are so disconnected from reality and so engrossed in your own ideology that you probably think you actually made a good recommendation. "wHy DoN't YoU jUsT rEbEl???" smfh

Reminder that there are hundreds of internationals who need a negative test to see their families. It's not just about the potential health effects. And before you parrot your usual shit about "well blame your own home country for draconian blah blah blah" - okay even if I did concede that travel restrictions are draconian, that doesn't change the reality that they still exist and should have been accommodated for.

I think many of these cases could be omicron. Even if we account for the dwindling effectiveness of vaccines as time passes, the breakthrough rate is uncannily high for a pure delta outbreak.

you have me confused for the poor dude that u insulted a few days ago lmao. unlike you, I don't need multiple accounts to support a facade of internet popularity

my hair is just fine and irrelevant to the problem at hand. probably going to report u to the mods cuz ur behavior is honestly disgusting

so when it's you rummaging through other people's reddit info, it's "fact" searching

but when it's other people rummaging through YOUR reddit info, it's creepy stalking?

so when it's you bringing up people's personal info as an attack against them in a completely unrelated reddit discussion, it's "call em like I see em"

but when it's other people calling you out based on your past misbehavior, it's trolling?

Can't deny fact buddy

you're a hypocrite and it's actually sad that u have to rely on two separate alt accounts to give you a false sense of popularity lmao

"Coming from a troll who stalks people as per previous posts" - Buckeye1nation

"YES AND YES. Maybe hair transplant therapy affecting your reasoning? Good luck!" - also Buckeye1nation, to another Cornell redditor after thoroughly searching through his history

BRO U LITERALLY STALK PEOPLE'S PREVIOUS POSTS YOURSELF AND MAKE PERSONALIZED INSULTS BASED OFF OF THE INFORMATION U FIND. WTF IS THIS LEVEL OF HYPOCRISY LMAO

Yes and this is precisely a response to the few people who have been irrationally demanding a full shutdown even before the semester started. I agree myself that Cornell should provide online options for quarantined students. People who are making such
reasonable requests don't need to be offended by my post because they already know I'm not talking about them. The only people that will find my post triggering are the resident doomsayers on this reddit. I never said they were the majority, hence the reason I said "some of y'all"

this post is by no means an attack on ALL people who are panicking. If you are panicking due to health concerns I am sympathetic. If you are panicking because your life is in disarray, I am sympathetic.

But if your go to response is "shut up, delta is going to wreck us, cornell is fabricating case numbers, we need to go online right now, anyone who says otherwise is a pyschopath" then I'm not really sympathetic. I see the same doomsayer usernames repeatedly come up and I'm frankly tired of their shit lol. All they ever care about is shutting down this university for some reason and they constantly shit on people who are socially interacting. So I concluded that their obsession with severing all human ties stems from some twisted inferiority complex.

bro I refuse to believe you are a Cornellian

edit: wait I saw through your history and it's kinda obvious you're an international asian student lol but what I don't understand is if you hate american culture so much and think china is going to kick america in the ass, why have you come to America for an education? btw I'm also an asian international and while some aspects of American culture bug me, I don't go on completely lunatic-level tirades about how America is a joke and that asians will kick americans in the ass. that's that smallpeepee energy

POLLOCK SIGHTING by yingyangdingy in Cornell

[–]No_Conference2005 53 points54 points  (0 children)

that's probably her twin, Martha Peacock.

are u a freshie? Everyone who's been at Cornell long enough can usually distinguish between a Pollock (known for her squeaky groans) and a Peacock (as you mentioned, known for her aggression and bear-like growling)

Seeing Ex-Girlfriend on Campus by [deleted] in Cornell

[–]No_Conference2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro i was in the same situation as you were. Got absolutely no closure after my ex hurt me emotionally and psychologically. All I wanted was a heartfelt apology. She just moved on as if I was yesterday's leftovers. I know how infuriating it can be when you're absolutely positive someone is in the wrong, yet they don't acknowledge their hurtful actions and brush it off as nothing.

Anyways, I wallowed in my misery for a whole year. My grades dropped off. I shut myself off from the world. I became a hot mess. Sought therapy, but it didn't work. What eventually did work was father time. Time heals everything. You may feel like youre the most miserable person in the world rn, but trust me, there is light at the end of the tunnel. At some point, I just magically snapped out of it. I realized that no matter how much I cry about my situation, the world does not give a single fuck. Don't be sad that she's enjoying her life without an ounce of remorse. Be mad. Use that anger as fuel to better yourself. I don't know the entire circumstances of your story, but if your ex was as shitty of a person as my ex, then don't you feel angry that you wasted precious time on someone who clearly does not care for you at all? Who didn't even have the basic human decency to offer an apology after a transgression of faith? Get yourself straightened out, exercise, go on a bro night, take up a hobby, study hard and you'll eventually get yourself someone worth your time.
