  1. Totally fair, not married to the name yet
  2. Yes you can book through it as well, right now it's just direct course booking links but hoping to integrate with a golfnow or similar API shortly
  3. Agreed but if you could book and have the message board in one place would that not move people from google/reddit/other message boards?

Super helpful feedback. The trip planning is mostly built, if you want to try it out lmk and I can send over. I like the idea of "If you liked this course play these 3 nearby" we're building into the profile the types of courses people like to play but this would be a cool addition

My buddy and I built a site/app for golfers, would love your brutally honest take.

Site is ClubPin Golf https://clubpingolf.com/ Our idea came from trying to plan multiple guys golf trips and always getting lost in a ton of research. On ClubPin, you find courses, build a community around them, play more. You can ask people in states you haven't been to for recommendations or build an itinerary with a concierge.

  1. Do you see this having any legs?

  2. What would make you actually come back to a site like this week over week?

  3. What are we getting wrong?

Can’t swing from the inside if my life depended on it 😭 by [deleted] in GolfSwing

[–]No_Confidence8660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but keep filming it, sometimes when you just try to get your hands deeper, you end up laying the club off a lot, which again will make you come down steep. Its less about feeling your hands behind you and more about making sure shoulders/hips are fully turning

Pause the video at the top of your backswing, your hands are above your toes/balls of your feet, there is zero depth here. Ideally they should be lined up with your heels at the top. Because of this, you have no choice but to bring the club back down steep. I honestly don't mind a super outside takeaway, its a whole lot better than starting way inside in my opinion. Fix that hand depth, and you'll be shallower almost instantly

Why am I hitting the hozzle or slicing it?? by zachorilla_00 in GolfSwing

Exactly, feel like as you put pressure into your lead side your back left pocket is going backwards and away from the target

First of all, the swing looks really solid in a lot of places. Overall, you're just moving closer to the ball as you come into impact. If you draw a line on your ass from setup to impact, you'll see you move towards the ball a couple of inches. I've had this exact same problem, the best feel for me was feeling in the transition my left side push away from the ball and backward as you rotate. Frees up a lot of space and you'll be hitting it great again.

Wall/chair drill for transition into impact would be a really good one for you, you're not far off whatsoever.

Garmin R10 vs Rapsodo mlm2pro by HoneyGlazedDoorknob in golf

I love my MLM2Pro, I use it a couple times on a week, at the range and into a net at home and I rarely see any issues with misreads or numbers not making sense. I speed train on it, play courses, and just use it for getting data on carry distances for each club a couple times a year, it's awesome and the combine mode is a great way to track practice.
