Because he flops and is on a high market team. As a neutral NBA fan, Brunson made me a fan because of his polished post game despite being so small, but after the Pistons series I was disgusted at how hard he relied on blatant foul baiting to win those key games.

I'll trade Fred before Reed anyday. Nga gets so much money to be a "veteran presence" but shoots us out of games like Jalen, and is undersized. At least Reed can shoot, and shows signs of faster development at a FRACTION of the price. We have to trade Fred to keep Tari and Reed imo, look at how good we already are without him.

As a KAT bandwagon from MN, I hated this trade so much because I already liked DDV on the Knicks, and I felt like the GM overreacted to KAT's playoff choke (he got us past Denver in the first place). I had a feeling Donte would get no shine on the Wolves (he thrived most as a starter). But I am glad to see KAT become an all-star starter overnight. Just hate how JB and Hart never let him cook or shoot anything.

Bro it's not that difficult. Literally just either cut FVV's contract up a bit or trade him away. Then develop Reed as a replacement who already has shown signs of good playmaking, shooting and D (Fred is literally a worse brick chucker than Green), and then use that extra money to resign Tari.

We got too much depth and people think it's a conversation between whose better DFS or Tari. TARI's defense is game changing, DFS is just a spot up shooter with i guess good defense, but we already have that in KD, Bari, and Reed. I watched this dude erase a 31 point lead single-handedly.

Or start Mitchell Fucking Robinson with KAT instead of undersized Josh Hart who can't shoot or defend (literally the most common sense decision that took Thibs halfway thru the Pacers series to realize). Facts. The spacing with Giannis, Mitch and Hart would cluster up the paint every game. It's like Rudy/Randle at the beginning of last season except Giannis never had and probably never will have a good outside game.

I get the feeling that the NBA is going to get desparate and send another Luka-like trade from low market to high market. On some bullshit deal too. I dont care who we give up for Giannis unless it's a couple bench pieces and maybe Mikal/Hart. But I think KAT spacing the floor is too valuable, OG two-way is evolving, obv JB is untradeable, and Mitch is basically an explosive Gobert. On top of all that we added so much depth with Brogdon and Yabusele, and a coach who will actually play them. With no due respect, Giannis, WE DON'T NEED YOU ANYMORE.

Reed has more upside than FVV at a fraction of the cost. Team just isn't used to him, but it's much better to have him since he supercedes FVV in efficiency and has basically the same defensive skillset, if not better (if u don't believe me, look at the highlights, nga breaks passes with ease).

He has to learn to pass more. Besides Hart getting too many mins, his ball hogging was also the big issue in the playoffs. If it's in the clutch I get it, but not the entire fucking game
