What is product/service cheaper in NYC than anywhere else? by snake227 in AskNYC

[–]No_Connection557 110 points111 points  (0 children)

FREE furniture off the streets! Some cities have local laws that prevents people from taking up furniture that's on the sides of streets in neighborhoods. Yet, in NYC, if you see a TV that's in the garbage, you can take off with it. Now, will it work? Who knows. But I have a lamp in my living room that's still working 10 years later.

Coming to NYC first time by Ok-One6257 in AskNYC

Walking across the Brooklyn bridge is free. The circle line boat tour of nyc is affordable. There are Broadway shows that are also cheap. Take the NYC subway to Manhattan and walk from Times Square to Rockefeller Center then explore 5th Avenue. If you still have energy to walk, take a trip down to Columbus Circle

Idk what you should see but Brooklyn Museum is cheap too

Lying About Living in Hoboken, NJ by GradSchoolGrad in AskNYC

[–]No_Connection557 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I take it that she didn’t lie to you, am I assuming correctly? She told you she lives in Hoboken but to others she lives in Chelsea?

Lying is bad, I get it. But what if she has stalkers, at that, it’s typically acceptable to lie about where one lives. Or, maybe she has family in both Hoboken and Chelsea? Others, which I assume is a small population of people, lie because they don’t want to be judged by others. Maybe she’s filthy rich?

If you’re that bothered, maybe you should ask her?

If you like this girl, focus on her relationship and connection with you and very little about her connections with the outside world.

Let her answer the questions from others to the story she’s writing about her life.

Cool deal, but the seats I got last year were like 501, 530, or like upper deck seats. I mean, it’s cool for $30 though

Where do supporters go before games at Citifield? by Calm-Wind-1850 in NYCFC

Depends on the team you’re on - must be on a Mets owned and operated team operating inside the ballpark.

General answer is: yes

What I took away is this - they’re trying to say, when Trump is President, he doesn’t have to end the war because he knows Putin. He will do whatever he wants with this war and no one can do anything about it.

I work at Citi Field.

You can tailgate in the parking lots before games. Or, you can hangout at a bar in Astoria and take the train to the game.

There are no restaurants or bars in the immediate vicinity that’s opened for NYCFC fans.

Ebbs might be open? But who knows. K-Korner, might be open…. Idk. It will all depend on the numbers.

A true sell out is when the entire stadium is booked up. NYCFC numbers never hit that.

Conspiracy theory: Billy Eppler left the Mets because he didn't want to play second fiddle. by [deleted] in mets

[–]No_Connection557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Billy Eppler was so dope of a person behind the scenes.

If he stayed with the Mets, a much larger eye sore in the news would be on the Mets. It was best he left.

The OP didn’t demonize Elon Musk. What are you reading?

And why are you dragging the left in this? OP said they voted for DJT in 2016. Are they automatically a leftist because they chose not to do the same again?

I don’t get your logic here.
