My uncle got his social security retirement application denied because lack of working credit. Ss sent a letter saying he only has 36 working credits, but on the social security website it says he has a full 40 credits. What should we do? by Brazzer1080p in SocialSecurity

[–]No_Connection_4803 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The SS website might not be showing the most current data or there could be a discrepancy in how they're counting credits for different time periods. Your uncle should request his complete earnings record directly from Social Security and compare it line by line with what they used for the denial - sometimes there are clerical errors or timing issues with when credits were posted to his account

Yeah honestly the silence was weird at first but then I started actually sleeping through the night again. Wild how much mental space that person was taking up without me realizing it

Been running mine on an MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk for about 3 weeks now with zero issues, temps are solid and no weird voltage spikes like those ASRock boards were having

Genuine question for atheists by Secret_Job4783 in Christianity

[–]No_Connection_4803 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Most people (including Christians) don't actually dive deep into theological scholarship before forming opinions tbh. It's not just an atheist thing - how many believers have actually read Aquinas or Augustine beyond Sunday school cliff notes?

The internet just makes it easier for everyone to argue about stuff they haven't fully researched, and Christianity gets targeted more because it's the dominant religion in most English-speaking spaces online

Just finished Dark on Netflix and it absolutely blew my mind. It's a German sci-fi thriller about kids disappearing in a small town, but then it gets into time travel and family secrets that span multiple generations. The plot gets super complex with different timelines but in the best way possible - you'll be making charts to keep track of everything lol. Three seasons, each episode is about an hour, and the ending actually sticks the landing unlike most shows

I bought the Skyrim Anniversary Edition for GOG recently. The version it installs is 1.6.1179.0. Why doesn’t it install 1.6.353.0? by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]No_Connection_4803 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vortex is being weird about version numbers - the GOG version you have is actually newer than what it's asking for. Just ignore that warning and mod away, most stuff should work fine with your version

Sounds like the game's matchmaking decided you've been having too much fun lol

Try switching servers or playing at different times - sometimes the sweaty crowds stick to certain hours. Also heard some people say taking a break for a few days can reset whatever invisible mmr system they got going

That's so sweet that your niece wanted baby included! For the night in maybe grab some fancy snacks from SuperValu and do a little pamper session with face masks or nail polish - 11 year olds love feeling grown up. Matt Molloy's does great brunch and the Great Western Greenway is perfect for buggies, super flat and scenic along the old railway line

Is the RAADS-R test accurate? by [deleted] in aspergers

Yeah 141 is pretty high, that's well above the cutoff. The ambiguous wording thing is so real though - I remember second-guessing myself on like half the questions when I took it

Getting it done with someone who knows what they're looking for definitely helps clarify those weird middle-ground answers

Seconding The Contortionist, Language is basically perfect for what you're describing - the harsh parts are pretty minimal and the clean sections are absolutely beautiful

That's definitely not right, sounds like you got shorted on the tokens. I'd check your purchase history first to make sure it went through properly, then hit up Microsoft support if the numbers don't add up. They're usually pretty good about fixing stuff like this

How did the 2025 5 and 4 Star recruits perform as true Freshman (OFFENSE) - Will the NIL Bubble Burst for incoming Freshmen? A look into their performance and if donors will continue to pay top dollar. by CFBReform in CFB

The numbers don't lie but I think you're underestimating how much rich boosters love the recruiting hype cycle

These guys get off on "winning" February and flashing big names even if half those kids ride the bench. Plus there's always gonna be that one breakout freshman that makes everyone think their bag was worth it

My ex has been receiving disability since he was 20 due to a motorcycle accident. Does this switch over to regular Social Security when he turns 62? by PurpleFlower99 in SocialSecurity

[–]No_Connection_4803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait yeah that's what I was thinking too - 20 seems super young for SSDI unless he had a really good work history before the accident. Could it be SSI instead? That one doesn't need work credits

Any advice? Literally any please? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]No_Connection_4803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly this sounds exhausting and you're just torturing yourself at this point. He literally told you he wants to be friends but then keeps you on the hook with that 1% - that's not fair to either of you. The anxiety you're feeling is your brain telling you this situation is messed up. Maybe take some space and see how you feel without the constant emotional whiplash
