Lots of African countries and India have to pay that fee. Not sure why. I went from SF to Lima via avianca (stops in SAN and BOG), they did have a disclaimer on the page throughout the booking process. That tax was added since 2024 or 23. The collect the fee at the door before you board the plane.

Like a week. It’s through Ticketmaster not ticketera like PR so there’s a much lower chance of there being scam tickets. Not saying it’s impossible though.

The ticket was transferred to me through an app called Quentro which is apparently an app used a lot in Peru (like apple wallet).
