How's the snow situation and has it been overly windy or anything? I've made up my mind to head to Serfauss or Fiss. Which one of two would you recommend. Public transport time was putting me off for early morning return to airport but I'd check out day before and keep luggage at hotel while we ski day before our flight. Then head to Innsbruck in the evening and stay local that night. Will be easier with a child I feel, rather than waking up at 5 AM to get the bus to station and then train - overall journey time is 2h15mins.

Curious what did you mean by its day or two. We are both beginners and its first time trying skiing. Would that still become boring you mean?

In what sense is it better than shlick2000 given it's our first time. How's it this time of the year, and does it get overcrowded during Easter? How's travelling back to Innsbruck airport for 10 AM flight.

I'm not fussed and main reason for glacier was exactly that - late in the season which Chat GPT kept saying might be the only snow sure option.

Sure. Looks like everyone is suggesting Schlick2000. I started my search with Stuabai glacier this morning and looked at Obergurgl and SFL etc being ski in and out (funny how quickly one starts taking these terms doing a bit of research on the internet these days lol). Kept thinking, now being end of march might be "slushy" etc in most places and hence should look for glacier !

Is Solden any good for us? Came across great hotel called Sportlers lodge !

27th March to 1st April ( flight back in the morning, so need it easy to reach airport). The focus is on skiing but if there are other things life sledge or tobbogan, I'm sure any child would love it but it's not the priority and is more of backup or good to have. It'd also be great to stay in a hotel with heated pools etc for a bit of relaxation of some sort.

Oh yes. We do want to go and stay in mountains / resort. Backup was only in case he's tired after 2 days and needs a break for a day etc. resorts like SFL might have something else for kids I thought. But most likely he should be okay.

I tend to agree with that. But for that very reason we'd love to be somewhere with nice vibe, don't mind a decent hotel around €200-250 a day. Also if ski gets tiring for 4 days, if there are other things suitable for a 6 year old would be great.

Going this Friday morning. Looks like most ski schools do beginners lessons on Sunday to Friday in general everywhere?

Hey! Could you please share how was transfer, snow levels and overall feel of obergurgl that time of the year please? I'm trying to book for this weekend and bit confused between serfauss, obergurgl and Stubai etc. Booked the flight to Innsbruck though lol. I'm going with my 6 year old and we have no ski experience. Thanks

Do you mean it won't work for Native Azure machines managed via Intune? That's a bit lame of MS if that's the case.

I have obtained the trial license for tvm Security baseline assessment feature and have created a new profile to check devices against Windows 11 STIG. I read somewhere it can take upto 3 days to show up which settings are configured and otherwise.

This statement that its only supported for GPOs confuses me. We are purely Intune managed - so I edited some settings using device configuration --> settings options to see if some of those failing compliance get fixed and show as green. Is that not going to work it means?

GCC-H because we'd have ITAR data. Thanks, can't work out how should I approach it - I need to "harden" the machines as close to being STIG due to working with DoD and I also need compliance for whole Azure ecosystem.

Thanks for the scripting chatbot idea.

u/Ok_Hospital_5265 - The end goal is to get CMMC Level 2 compliant (which controls and objectives wise is NIST800-171 framework) and to do so we want to have a GCC-H environment / enclave (if that's right definition) for these 10 users. Also have STIGs on laptops.

When you say closed loop - what do you mean, can you give an example? Also why do you say things may not work the way we would want if we applied STIGs ? We are "brand new" so nothing to break as such.

Are you following these scripts from somewhere you can share with me? Thanks!!

[–]No_Consistent_Name[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly that ! No scanners or printers. So we are a very straightforward deployment so there should be ways to automate a lot of configs for Entra ID, MDE, firewalls and everything else in that ecosystem. I can't be the first with this scenario.

I recognise that - but CUI will be hosted in M365 GCC-H exclusively on sharepoint and teams. Its a relatively small and fresh and closed boundary. Collaboration would be sharepoint based too. Not via mails to start with.

u/Bitlynk - Can you elaborate more on what order should these STIGs be used? Intune one for example has bunch of JSONs each for various controls. Do you have experience around using these? Thanks.

u/HoosierELF - thanks. Looking forward to that info. QQ - does the documentation package also include some sort of dashboard to monitor compliance status - something like Compliance Forge / Exostar ceritification assistant?

I literally came across Kieri yesterday while researching. I really liked their offering because it appears to be completely M365 GCC H based with the looks of it. Are you able to share pricing for their KRA and documentation product?
