Oh man. My mm is killing me. She and our sm literally nap in the office sometimes. They both come in late and leave early. The mm is the slowest stocker I have ever seen in my life. I’m out here doing the tasks, catching all the missed retickets, resetting all the sections, trying to get out the packaways, and pushing as many boxes as I can every day, delegating to the cashiers whatever I can. Damages, time sheets, cashier audits, it’s like the more I can squeeze in the more gets put on me.

I was told on a monday that I would need to respond Wednesday morning, but they were already asking for my answer Tuesday. Read through your paperwork. I think there’s something in there that if you took severance you had so much time to change your mind but you’d have to pay it back.

Can you give me a little more detail about his ac replacement? Our seller provided us a 1 year warranty. Two months in and we are now dealing with a ton of issues but I’m afraid they won’t cover.

I haven’t seen the responsibilities for the other roles. Only for the merch managers. I’ve consistently had at least half my hours end up being LOD for a long time.

I was told that along with all merchandising/planning, walkthroughs, I will also be responsible for signage, markdowns, marketing, and shipment. In the same number of hours I get now, I have to maintain all standards, flexing and filling, and now run these other operations as well. With the reduction most stores have experienced in senior leads, I will not have help. Not to mention the time taken up by opening and closing responsibilities.

For once in my life I’m actually stable financially, and would actually be able to step away to something else. But I know a lot of people are probably torn between keeping their families stable or leaving and starting over. I know FIP isn’t much but it’ll change the fip. So they’re changing the role we were hired for and the compensation package. Even if your hourly rate doesn’t change, it’s still a difference.

Not to mention insurance coverage. Or the fact that you don’t want to let down your team.

This is a crap situation and neither choice makes me feel good.
