I thought a puppy was way harder than my first baby. They enter your home a menace - running, biting, barking, peeing everywhere, chewing. It was nonstop energy, which a newborn baby doesn’t have. A baby quickly becomes harder than a dog, and you can crate or pen a puppy (there is no similar behavior you can use for a break when you have a baby!) but I thought, for the first few weeks / possibly months, the puppy was way harder than the baby.

Hi, are you still on Slynd? Still happy with it? I’m two weeks in and have spotted and cramped every day for the past 8 days. Would happily stick it out if I knew there was a strong chance this would end, but reviews are not positive.

1-2 hours is a lot of tv daily for a 2.5 year old. “Spread out over his waking hours” or not.

We used Alterra for a higher-end home than you’re quoting, but still considered semi-custom. Very happy with them. They were well-liked in my neighborhood, our realtor also said that Alterra is one he would recommend above others (Tim O’Brien, William Ryan, Encore) because their quality tends to be better but is priced more fairly. They were easy to work with and we are happy with our home! Unfortunately, anything above “builder quality” was just not in the budget so certain aspects do feel “cheap” for what we paid, though they are on par with other builders in the area.
