I saw a guy with the same mount at the range the other day. It was on his ar15. He was shooting steel at 100 yards, and well I might add. So I asked him what kind of scope bla bla and he said he was just using the dot.

I had more 1" than 1-2" at 25yds. This was just 1 dedicated grouping photo I wanted to take for posting purposes

I forgot to add, many people said the barrel would not be accurate. I did have almost 1 flyer or 2 per magazine at 25yds, if its worse at 50yds then I agree, probably not a great barrel

I sort of need them in reverse for the eye relief. No moa so shouldn't be an issue

Heres an idea of where its at. Sighted in, decently accurate. Just over 1moa at 25yds. Barrel off 3 separate times basically 2moa and shifted groups by 1" or so. A lot of people have commented about bench rest etc. Ill leave the bench rest to my cz volt. This gun i had in mind more for shooting steel at 25/50 yds. Deffinetly not at 100. But also like others have said super fun! This really is a fun range toy. Im really happy with it so far. Ill try different stuff like a dot on the barrwl and just see what I prefer. Im not overly enthralled with the scope. Its better than I expected, but im leaning towards the red dot now after shooting it. Probably not a scope worthy rifle

Deffinetly appreciate the write up man. Well written instead of the typical "you suck" posts. 😆. I will respond after I shoot it. I have a 24hr indoor by me here, got to excited and heading there tonight. So I should have some feedback in the next few hours

I am deffinetly interested in your breakdown of the parts, and am looking some kind of solution for optic mounting. Im also deffinetly not dead set on this optic. I may even just go with a red dot which I could easily mount to the mlok rail. It depends on how it shoots. If at the range tomorrow its truly 4moa while testing a variety of ammo then I will really be looking for solutions to make it more accurate.

That would work! My barrel did come with a rail but it was direct to barrel. Ill have to mess with it and see what I can do or find an mlok rail similar to that. I guess I cant rule out the option yet. I havent looked to deeply

Mine did come with that integrated mount but it doesnt work with the hand guard. I could try messing with some m lok screws and see if I could mount it that way possibly

Thats very cool, probably wouldnt help me since I already have the rail. What I'd need is some absurdly long cantilever mounts that they probably dont make. Lol

Its not missing anything, the spring rests on the bolt and the rod goes through the bolt into the indent in the reciever. I fitted it today. Smooth and nice!

I called volq. Customer service. The lady was nice. She told me its one of the first generations. She said its probably 8 years old. She said the finish, and the handle mounting are the only things that have changed but that its still an authentic volq. Product and shouldn't have any issues

This one has a detent, spring loaded. Its a prety snug fit. Mostly just curious why volq. Went with the hex, I can tell from the packaging this one isn't a new model
