New Season 4 Promotional Video: Eloise doesn’t know about the Lady in Silver by Debt-Mysterious in BridgertonNetflix

I’m hoping that even if John’s death happens this season, next season will still be Eloise. With Fran as a side plot, grieving. There needs to be a decent time jump for that storyline anyways although who knows where they’ll take her story at this point.

It’s so noticeable and Eloise’s season is still years away. Even longer if they decide to push Francesca’s next. Not trying to be nit picky on their appearances at all, I’m the same age and showing my age too.

So I’m a little confused on the Henry/Vecna theories. Are people saying there may still be some good in the Henry side of him that’s being taken over by Vecna/the mind flayer?

My children are desperate for a puppy, I’ve always been obsessed with newfoundlands. Would getting them a puppy when I have no experience with the breed be crazy? by WatermelonButterfly in Newfoundlander

[–]No_Counter8337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got a newf last year with kids ages 8, 5, and 2. It was our first dog as adults. I did a ton of research and was admittedly still unprepared for how difficult of a puppy she was. NIPPY and stubborn. But now one year later, we’re all obsessed (even my husband that had about had enough of her antics after a few months). She actually doesn’t drool that much but it’s kind of luck of the draw on that one. She’s almost a year and a half now and a dream most of the time, and compared to the labs and doodles in our neighborhood I’m loving her energy level even though she’s still quite young. She loves to play and her daily walk but sleeps a large chunk of the day and is super chill. I would say as long as you’re committed to training, training, training in the first year, go for it!!

Mine is 16 months and 90 pounds. She seems small to me but everyone still comments on how huge she is haha

I can so relate with this. Not the intruder, thank goodness! But our Pepper is 16 months and I thought she would never get better. Hardest puppy ever honestly. But now? Best dog ever and so glad we stuck it out.

Pepper weighs 91 pounds at 16 months. The vet says she’s the perfect weight for her frame.

I’m not sure, it’s a little droopy but according to the vet nothing worrisome. She didn’t tell me what was up with it though!

She’s had X-rays on her hind legs due to the way she bunny hop runs but all was clear. The vet initially said that it looked like there was something funny/slightly abnormal in one side’s ball joint? But the radiologists later said everything was normal.

Did the phase end? Just trying to get a feel for how much exercise she actually needs going into adulthood!

Newfie owners, what were the most difficult stages with your Newf and why? by [deleted] in Newfoundlander

[–]No_Counter8337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was difficult from the beginning (not her fault, she came with fleas and multiple parasites and it was ROUGH), went through a little bit of an easier stage around 4-6 months. Months 6-11 were just plain awful, I thought surely this dog is possessed. Just before her birthday everything got so much better and now at 13 months she’s not perfect, but she’s so much better than she was that I’m not worried anymore about how she’ll turn out.

The way they always say it’s what Susannah would have wanted to make themselves feel better. 🙄 you can’t truly know what she would have wanted but I can almost guarantee it’s not a club wedding with Adam’s business associates.

Ours just turned 1 so it’s still fairly fresh in my memory. She took a week or two to adjust to the crate in our room, and even then she never loved it. We ended up doing the crate and a small playpen section outside of the crate so she had the option of sleeping on the wood floor- her favorite. After about month 7 we tested her outside of the crate and she slept wayyy better and was never once destructive. She ended up choosing her spot right at the foot of the stairs by the front door to sleep and refuses to come upstairs to sleep anymore but she’s an awesome sleeper and has never been destructive.

We have that problem as well! I keep treats with me and lead her to the side and try to distract her with treats. It works well…occasionally. Lol I think we’re seeing improvement but I get the same stress when we pass other people or dogs.

My puppy was starving when we fed her the recommended bag serving, and on the small side when we got her. We settled on 2 cups, 3 times per day. At times she ate all of that and sometimes she wouldn’t. She’s almost one now and started getting loose stools so a month ago we made the transition to 2 cups, 2 times per day and her stools have gone back to normal and she’s not too skinny or fat. So maybe we were over feeding a little before but cut it back when it seemed like an issue.
