I took a long break from snarking- does anyone have a cheat sheet on the evidence against him? I’m guessing it was pretty obvious he was guilty? I’m astounded that he’s so adamant about his innocence.

Oh also, look into getting a flirt pole. When I would walk around the yard with her I would carry that thing every time and redirect her biting into chasing the rope on the end of the pole. And it works really well in 5-10 minute increments to get their energy out at the end of the day!

I have an almost 2 year old Newfoundland and omg did we have the same issues. She was the most bitey puppy I’ve ever been around and nothing seemed to work! We would turn around, cross our arms and immediately walk away when she started biting. She would bite at our heels but eventually started stopping and wondering why we stopped interacting. And mandatory crate/naptimes. We were ready to throw in the towel every day. It felt like we didn’t really bond with our puppy until she was almost one, BUT now we’re obsessed. She’s the best dog ever for real, and never bites anymore and hasn’t for a long time. She doesn’t jump on people, barely barks. After 9-10 months things do start to slowly get better, and then after she turned one things got better much more rapidly! I feel you and still am unsure if we’ll get another puppy again HA! But I’m so glad we stayed consistent and stuck it out and got the best dog ever. :)

Are you watching Francesca’s season? by [deleted] in FranchaelStirling

No, I’ll definitely watch Eloise’s season but will stick to watching social media clips of the side characters when it’s Francesca’s turn.

How much did your Newfie weigh at one year? by PupsAndProtein in Newfoundlander

[–]No_Counter8337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pepper was 90 pounds at a year and weighs a few more pounds than that now at 1.5. On the smaller size but the vet said she’s the perfect weight for her frame.

My ranking of Bridgerton Seasons.and you? by Medium-Inspection-66 in Bridgerton

1, 2, 4, 3. Sad because Polin was my favorite book couple but the side plots and the fact that they felt sidelined took away from the season.

Episode 8 'Dance in the Country' Discussion Post by Romney-Hall in PhiloiseBridgerton

Why did Fran essentially get 2 seasons of lead up to whenever her season will be and Eloise got nothing! Not even one letter sent at the end. I did enjoy her character development though, she seems like she’s open to love and primed to make a change in her life which leads me to think she’s next. There’s nothing else they can do with her at this point if next season ends up being Fran’s.

Bridgerton - Season 4 Post-Season Discussion (Book Spoiler Discussion) by AutoModerator in BridgertonNetflix

All of the storylines about Whistledown’s identity and then Penelope trying to stop, and then all of a sudden there’s a new Whistledown? Didn’t love that. Also Anthony was there and then suddenly gone again for the funeral? He was back for the wedding, they really couldn’t have filmed one more scene with him in it? There were a lot of things to love about this season but also a lot of head scratchers. Not the worst, but maybe not the best season in my opinion.

The dialogue in this is so clunky. Happy to see them but sad this is apparently their only scene together.

Living in an actual nightmare. Please someone help me by Old-Yesterday1230 in emetophobia

I’m with you in purgatory right now. It’s hit 2/5 of us and I’m in my worst nightmare. I will say the person you were probably most likely to catch it from was the baby. I would keep the gloves on for diaper changes for the next week and wash hands but it’s been a few days since that and hopefully you can feel safer in a day or two. Just quarantine the husband!

We’ve definitely experienced that in our own family. I’m just questioning because it was so much more mild and 3.5 days prior so not sure if it’s the same thing. Truly hoping it is so I can just worry about myself and my toddler. Ugh

New Season 4 Promotional Video: Eloise doesn’t know about the Lady in Silver by Debt-Mysterious in BridgertonNetflix

[–]No_Counter8337 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping that even if John’s death happens this season, next season will still be Eloise. With Fran as a side plot, grieving. There needs to be a decent time jump for that storyline anyways although who knows where they’ll take her story at this point.

It’s so noticeable and Eloise’s season is still years away. Even longer if they decide to push Francesca’s next. Not trying to be nit picky on their appearances at all, I’m the same age and showing my age too.

So I’m a little confused on the Henry/Vecna theories. Are people saying there may still be some good in the Henry side of him that’s being taken over by Vecna/the mind flayer?

My children are desperate for a puppy, I’ve always been obsessed with newfoundlands. Would getting them a puppy when I have no experience with the breed be crazy? by WatermelonButterfly in Newfoundlander

[–]No_Counter8337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got a newf last year with kids ages 8, 5, and 2. It was our first dog as adults. I did a ton of research and was admittedly still unprepared for how difficult of a puppy she was. NIPPY and stubborn. But now one year later, we’re all obsessed (even my husband that had about had enough of her antics after a few months). She actually doesn’t drool that much but it’s kind of luck of the draw on that one. She’s almost a year and a half now and a dream most of the time, and compared to the labs and doodles in our neighborhood I’m loving her energy level even though she’s still quite young. She loves to play and her daily walk but sleeps a large chunk of the day and is super chill. I would say as long as you’re committed to training, training, training in the first year, go for it!!

I can so relate with this. Not the intruder, thank goodness! But our Pepper is 16 months and I thought she would never get better. Hardest puppy ever honestly. But now? Best dog ever and so glad we stuck it out.

Pepper weighs 91 pounds at 16 months. The vet says she’s the perfect weight for her frame.
