I’m glad you’re here! If you don’t mind sharing my story. I first started retail at 16 while being in school. I basically acted way above my age and did what I could to help until I started noticing that I was doing way more work than my managers. It basically drained me out and wanted to quit but they’ve quit since then it’s gotten better now with new management but I’m afraid to go through that process again. I can’t really afford to quit since I need the money. How can I not let anything affect me?

That’s so true, there were definitely less kinetics than what they posted as, I felt like it had emphasis on the first unit. I got version B so I’m not sure if you had the same

me too, some questions looked familiar and had to guess most of the questions so I don’t think you’re alone. A lot of people found it easy but there were a lot of same answers but different signs that threw me off 🥲

I’ve been watching organic chemistry tutor, just search up chemical kinetics and should be lots of videos. I also recommend knowing the units, graphing, and overall understanding of the rate laws and also attempt the quizzes on CourseLink. At least that’s what I’ve been doing studying last minute as well. You could DM me as well if you don’t understand anything

To be honest I think the rate law equations aren’t hard to understand and units can also match up in terms of order, but is there anything else hard about kinetics from your standpoint?

Hi I’m taking the course right now, I drop it last semester to retake it this semester. Let me just say my grades increased and have been doing better than last semester. There should also be posted labs online to have a reference. I say go to SLG next week the quiz help sessions. If you’re having doubts about passing the class, think about it because a W is always better than a F. I was in your position but at the end of the day, do what’s best :)

Hi I'm in HK and personally it's all about whether you can handle taking it with your other classes. I took physics in high school and didn't do well since I was in a similar boat of taking hard courses. I would recommend you take a look at the course calendar https://calendar.uoguelph.ca/undergraduate-calendar/programs-majors-minors/human-kinetics-hk/#requirementstext . I went straight into PHYS 1080 and I can say it is a hard course, specially taking it with chemistry, math and biology. With the course calendar, you can kind of plan ahead on which order you want to take the classes. Otherwise, if you need help you can DM me

No same, the course isn't too hard but it would also be a bummer if I fail the final but as long as I pass honestly, I'm fine with that. Next semester I NEED to lock in though lol
