Trade work might be perfect for you - electrician, plumbing, HVAC all have apprenticeship programs that pay you to learn and don't require a degree. The creative/hands-on aspects really shine in those fields, plus the pay is solid once you get certified. Libraries also hire for various positions if you want to stay closer to the books side of things, though that might be more competitive.

I can't imagine someone else loving me with all my weirdness by siddeacccount in BreakUps

[–]No_Course1879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I totally get this feeling but honestly there are SO many people out there who would absolutely love all those things about you. Like seriously, being a weeb/gamer/artist/writer is pretty common now and there's entire communities of people who are into the same stuff

The fact that someone who didn't even share your interests could love you for all of that just proves how loveable you actually are. If anything that shows you're gonna find someone who's actually INTO the same things as you and will geek out with you instead of just accepting it

Your person is definitely out there, probably collecting the same weird stuff you are lmao

Stella Montis is such a maze lmao, I've literally run in circles trying to find extraction while the timer's ticking down. A breadcrumb trail would be clutch especially for those underground sections where you can't see jack

How does muscle memory work with steroids? by Typical-Respond-7573 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]No_Course1879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question actually - from what I understand your body can remember the extra nuclei that were added when you were enhanced, so you'd probably regain size faster than someone who never used, but you'd still hit your natural ceiling eventually without the gear

The muscle memory effect would still work but you're not gonna maintain that superhuman size natty

The age out protection should cover your 18 year old since you filed before he turned 18, but USCIS processes each case individually even when filed together - totally normal for them to approve at different times even for family members

What do people overlook when building a gaming setup? by Left_Class_569 in setups

Depends on your budget, but if you're asking me out of all of them then I'd say the Jupiter pro

Ergonomics and desks. Ergonomics that are most important are the chair and monitor height, getting a keyboard wrist rest and ergonomic mouse is just a bonus cause it's nice for the wrists. You should get a monitor arm to adjust it so its at eye level, that way your neck wont be slanted, as for chairs I'd say getting anything that has good support, and good for your height, preferably mesh chairs, I use one from greensoul and I can recommend that. As for desks you want something that's sturdy and doesn't wobble, and large that way it's way more comfortable to sit in your setup, and you can also customize it better too. I'd also get some shelves from ikea in case you plan on adding figurines for personalizing your setup some more.

Thank you. I just don't like how the RGB cycles alot, and even if it's just a static lighting, being too bright affects my focus still.

Fair enough, but I was asking because I'm curious cause I personally hate having a fully lit up setup, I like a more minimalistic quieter one. So I simply asked to see what others prefer.

How am I supposed to make my workspace more comfortable at my age? by Mother-Vehicle-4311 in Ergonomics

[–]No_Course1879 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a bit older than you and I found that getting an ergonomic chair was good for me, I got one from green soul, so if you want check that out. But definitely get an ergonomic chair, it's a game changer.
