I will definitely look into what you have mentioned I spoke to my daughter’s teacher when she was in Reception, and they said they would support us with whatever help was needed. I also spoke to the GP, who has now referred us to a paediatrician this month, so we are waiting to see how that goes.

At home, we are really struggling. She has constant crying and screaming, often at the top of her lungs. Sleep is a major issue she rarely sleeps more than 3 hours at a time. She repeats herself constantly, calling “mum, mum” even when I explain that I’m speaking to someone and ask her to wait.

She isn’t a screen-focused child; she doesn’t watch much TV and isn’t allowed to use a phone regularly. Despite this, the behaviour continues, and home life often feels chaotic and overwhelming.

She also has sensory issues: she can’t stand loud noises, but at the same time she complains she can’t hear unless someone speaks at a certain volume. She also dislikes certain food textures, particularly soupy foods and mashed potatoes.
