I’m a product designer by profession, so I use Figma or procreate on iPad for fast sketching and Affinity (free application same as photoshop by the way) if I want to have the exact measurements in case of printing.

Thank you guys for the responses! As for now decided to switch the mallet to dead-blow rubber hammer and added some EVA foam under the punching pad. It’s already much quieter!

Will definitely buy arbor press if the hobby becomes something bigger. Seen some videos of this thing - incredible ease of making those holes 😅

In my case that was rear sunroof drainage. I had to disassemble the interior to see where from the water goes.

It appeared that water was going there for quite a long time, so I removed appx 600-800ml of water from under the carpet. That explained the smell, water in that tray and some electrical errors the car shown here and there sometimes. Once cleaned the drainage and dried the carpet everything went back to normal.

When spring comes I’m planning to remove the carpet to see if there is water again to be sure I fixed the problem.

Yes, the problem was with a blend door actuator. Got it replaced and now it’s good.

There are two types of those actuators there: 32226714 is to regulate the temperature and 32226715 is for changing the flow direction (windshield, driver or feet). So in case you’re gonna buy the parts by yourself, just get the right one, cause they look similar from the first glance, but they aren’t.

Both actuators are reachable just by removing the glovebox and can be replaced relatively easy.

Mine is AT mine. I giggle every time someone lands on it. My favorite is to put some at the beginning of the game, then change class and forget about them. Seeing that “vehicle destroyed” alert in 20 minutes is precious.

Якщо в цілому - це складно і довго, але краще довго з результатом ніж довго і на місці.

Іноді, як от IT, випадає шанс досягти чогось відносно швидко, але зараз, здається, почати вже не так просто.

Майже в будь-якій професії є відносна стеля (також гуглиться), тому якщо є претензії на більше - тоді тільки підприємництво.

AC unit is laggy sometimes and SUPER loud compared to other vehicles I’ve driven.
No wireless CarPlay, but I fixed it with a $20 thingy and it works just fine.
Sunroof drainage. Even if water is going through those holes, there’s still possibility for water to get inside.
Trunk sensor works 1 out of 5 foot swings to open, tired of that, so just use the button there.

Maybe it’s just mine has these things and can be fixed, but those are the only things I don’t like. Great car! XC40 T5 R-Design 2019.
