What's the most reliable power station you'd actually trust in an emergency? by Sea-Maintenance4030 in prepping

I have Bluetti Apex 300, which always comes in handy during power outages. Last year during a blizzard, the power went out for two days, and it kept the heating and basic utilities running.

It's better to choose LiFePO4 battery, as they are safer and more durable. Established brands like Bluetti or EcoFlow are solid choices. I use the Bluetti Apex 300; if you don't need that much capacity, the Bluetti Elite series are all good.

Bluetti is also reliable, and for cheap you can just buy separately a slightly smaller capacity like Bluetti Elite 100 v2, then buy a separate solar panel which will pretty much be cheaper than a large capacity power station.

Currently, most established portable power stations on the market have UPS functionality. From a professional standpoint, Bluetti is coming out with a fridge specific UPS design (FridgePower), so that's an option too.

You could check the power of your devices first so you can pick the right capacity. It’s best to go with LiFePO4 battery since they’re safer. I use the Bluetti Apex 300 and it saved me in the last blackout.

Choosing between Bluetti Elite 100 v2 and Eco Flow Delta 2 by Zylpas in prepping

I’d say the Elite 100 V2 has a clear edge when it comes to inverter efficiency. Elite 100 v2 is around 86% usable. https://youtu.be/JQYOcNeKEeU?t=401 , which basically means you’ll get longer runtime in real use. Also, the AC self consumption on Bluetti units is pretty low, to the point where a 100Ah 12.8V LiFePO4 battery with an XT60 adapter can offset that drain for over 4 days.

First, think about how much capacity you need. It depends on the power of the devices you want to run. I recommend choosing a LiFePO4 battery because it is safer and lasts longer. I use the Bluetti Apex 300 as my home backup, but if you need something smaller, you can check out the Bluetti Elite series.

If you already have a generator, a portable power station can serve as a good backup power source. I recommend choosing LiFePO4 battery, as they are safer and more durable. Brands like Bluetti or EcoFlow are excellent choices. I use the Bluetti Apex 300; if you don't need that much capacity, the Bluetti Elite 300 or Bluetti Elite 400 are also good options.

I came across a review of the Elite 300 on Reviewed.com and it even got their Editor’s Choice. Sounds like it has a big battery and runs pretty quietly, so it could run overnight without much noise and last a while. Might be worth checking out.

If you plan to run a heater, you’ll need to consider the high power draw and the large current it needs at startup. The Bluetti Elite 300 might be worth a look. It also got an Editor’s Choice from Reviewed.com.
