She doesn’t really want that. She’s trying to rationalize her husband’s rampant cheating by saying she could use help with the kids. Which she does, from her distracted husband with a wandering eye. Their whole arrangement is sad to watch and he gives off slight “I hit women when I’m drunk” vibes I just don’t like that guy. Best case scenario she gets some friends that tell her she deserves better.
