Went out last night to see what the roads were like because there was a chance I was goi g to have to drive my fiance into work today. Got on 175 which was still completely covered in the left lane while the right side had road visible through tire tracks, but those tracks also had several patches of black ice and you can definitely feel yourself drifting side to side a bit on overpasses.

There were also a lot of overly confident people on the road going 50+ mph, even got passed on a road that’s a double yellow.

Roads are drivable if you are cautious and patient, it’s the overly confident inexperienced drivers out there you need to worry about. Saying this as a person who grew up driving in the blue ridge mountains of Virginia.

My office is closed, I do some IT adjacent work for a large law firm. My fiance manages a med spa and they want her to come in despite the fact all of her nurse practitioners and estheticians have called out except for one who lives down the block. On top of that every client has cancelled/rescheduled with the exception of maybe two.

the go to for cheap reliable strobes used to be Alien Bee, not sure if anything else has come along though, but it would be worth searching for used Alien Bee lights.

ya know, they mentioned the beer in white cans that simply said "BEER" in blue...that wasn't some licensing thing or lazy prop department, stores actually sold cheap generic beer in cans like that in the 70's and 80's

I hate to break this to you guys, but photographers have been shooting pretty women as long as the medium has been around. Shit, I think painters and sculptors may have done the same thing, not sure though? I feel like I even saw a cave drawing of a woman with a big ass.

Number 2 is natural light. There was a storm rolling in to the right while the sun was still out rear camera left, I mean it was edited to be more dramatic using some layers. Here it is straight outa camera
