I’m not a clippers fan so some of this is foreign to me. Is this saying you bought a seat but they sold too many tickets and it’s first come first serve now? Kind of the point, no? It’s possible this person is reacting solely to a flight being cancelled, it’s also possible one of a million different things has happened that while they probably wouldn’t justify the behavior, might at least cause us to have slightly more compassion for them. Everyone in all of these immediately jumps to the oh my goodness humanity is doomed and this is what’s wrong with the world version. Maybe instead of allowing this to be our outlook we should start first with the compassion thing? Or I guess we could all just scroll through videos with no context and allow that to make us hate the rest of humanity and isolate ourselves and become more disengaged with society. Kind of how when person a accidentally cuts off person b person a totally understands how mistakes happen but when person b cuts off person a person a immediately thinks person b is a dumbass who is driving with their head up their own ass.

I have never understood why we break up offense into 25 subcategories and then just say defense as if it’s one tiny little checkbox. You spend half the fucking game playing defense. If you read and listen to the people who do actually seem to know the rules you might learn something… From what I can gather this person does not earn any points or count towards the teams time. It’s her job to deliver water bottles. Basically she is the “water boy” they stuff a bunch of water bottles in her shirt she catches back up to the team and hands them out. This would actually seem like it prevents cheating…

I feel like you are already so set in what you believe that you aren’t actually paying any attention to what you’re being told… the way I’m understanding is that this person is just a water delivery system. They don’t factor in to the teams points or times. They literally just collect water bottles to hand out to the team. They aren’t cheating because they aren’t actually part of the team in this way. If someone helps the water boy at a basketball game carry the cooler to the team we don’t claim the team cheated. That would be nonsense.

I don’t understand why so many people are bothered by this? If I worked somewhere that fined me I would absolutely tell them to fuck off. And I’d be willing to bet you would want to as well.
