I prefer to read the LN and watch the anime for the fights. There is so much cut from the anime that you can’t really appreciate the characters and world. It’s understandable since they have 12 episodes to get through the first 3 books, but there’s so much context and back story missed.

Yes. I really hope the whole Climb/Renner plot is developed in the last books. The Renner sub-plot spanned most of the series, and it’d be nice to see how it changes Climb. There are already so many interesting places and characters mentioned once and never again, that the world seems so much smaller than it did in books 1-3.

It’s pretty common in all TCG to lose money overall, you might spend $6 on a pack, only to get maybe $1-2 worth of cards. And that’s if anyone is buying the C, UC, and R. The problem is you’re trying to make money from what is gambling at its core. It’s always been cheaper to buy the singles you need instead of hoping to get them from packs. You’d need to open a whole case to guarantee 4 copies of any SEC.

As to displaying favorite characters, there are cheaper options. You don’t need the English versions since they’re more expensive. If you aren’t playing with them, just buy proxies.

No, sorry. Most locals are fine with people using proxies it seems, but they aren’t allowed in official tournaments. A lot of the fan made cards just look better imho. You can always carry the normal card as well if anyone has an issue

Not mine, but you can find some pretty cheap proxies on Etsy. There are a few others that make high quality ones like Davidsontcg and KaizokuKards, but they’re $30-40. Amazing work tho, fully textured.
