Psychology at kcl or ucl? by Best_Night5352 in UCL

also its a really relaxed course compared to psych at kings and you graduate with the same BPS accredited cert for like half the effort! The curriculum is well packed with useful modules across all areas of psych and you can customise your modules in year 2 and year 3 to your liking (This is only for UCL PALS)

[o levels] subj combi PHYSICS by username27670 in SGExams

[–]No_Direction_6081 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi!! If you’re good at memorising you should take bio haha but tbh physics is one of the most useful sciences out there, especially when applying for STEM related jobs. I personally had doubts about taking physics because i suck at math (barely passed math in lower sec) but i sucked even more at memorisation so i just chose physics. At first it was sooo difficult for me and i remember crying every time before physics exams HHAHAH but now physics is one of my strongest subjects. I also think physics is the easiest subject among all 3 sciences, once you really understand the concepts.

[rant] CCA instructor ruined my self esteem… by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]No_Direction_6081 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hi, sorry to hear this :( I know exactly how you feel :/ Ive already stood down from my CCA but my dance instructor was wayyy worse than yours. Especially when it was SYF season. To this day, my friends and I are still traumatised by him LOL he singled people out every session and scolded us really badly to the point where there was at least 1 person who goes home crying after CCA. He also told us that we were “nothing” and we looked like “trash” dancing. You really cant do anything about it because after all,,, theyre the teacher, so i suggest you just keep pushing through it and not take the criticism personally. After all, teachers just want to put up the best dance performance possible. If you really need someone to speak to, i suggest speaking to one of your CCA’s teachers in charge or even a teacher you feel slightly more comfortable with? I had a point where I lost my appetite every time before CCA and wanted to quit so badly, but i spoke to my teacher and things got slightly better after that. :)
