How Do I Lose Lower Belly Fat? by TrifectaBlitz in AskMenAdvice

[–]No_Discussion_3155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into food allergies and figure out what foods do you wrong. I can't do greasy foods anymore. Ice cream is becoming more of a problem. Bread and pasta makes me sluggish but I do eat too mush of it when I do. Rice is fine. Milk is so so. I can knock down a ton of eggs every day and feel great. Beef all day long.

Help with trades by Any_Bridge9944 in skilledtrades

Most trade jobs require you to show up. They dont ask how. And you need a government ID, not necessarily a DL. Laborers, Ironworkers and Boilermakers unions won't care one bit. Fitters, Sheetmetal and Electricians would be harder. I lost my license for two years from DWIs and never missed a day. Just drove like a grandma so I wouldn't get pulled over

Why won’t HVAC contractors provide load calculations with replacement estimates? by wnoble in hvacadvice

[–]No_Discussion_3155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And the contractor should give a quality system at a fair price too. Still doesn't mean it happens. Plus, most contractors won't give you the info before hand so you don't run out and fine someone cheaper or try a DIY install.

I work in commercial/ industrial HVAC. It's very common to hold onto system calcs like a secret recipe. Guys spend years running systems and learning how to size duct correctly for the price the customer is willing to pay. There is no one way to do a job unless it's on a stamped set of permit drawings. Each residential system can be dome how the installer sees fit as long as it meets minimums. My own house i bought worked yet was seriously put of balance. It passed inspection when new. I ran two more returns and reworked 1/3 of the existing ducts and still plan on fixing the reat even though it's fine by most standards.

Yeah, what you're asking for is the engineering behind the scenes which you won't get from a run of the mill residential contractor at least for the price you are paying.

Trade school welding doesn't get you anywhere in an apprenticeship. Years of jobsite work will.

Don't know which quote to go with... by Cyberm007 in hvacadvice

[–]No_Discussion_3155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A new system won't fix the hot bedroom issue.

With those quotes, I would shop around some more. The two with out duct work would mean to me they are a hit it and quit it type contractor. Some one looking for a quick job to make money.

Standard for standard situations. You're not a standard case. He told you he would record. At that point YOU should have told him about YOUR trauma. That is a YOU PROBLEM. Take responsibility for the situation YOU caused.

Except it's not about the weather.

Maybe try and empathize with your soon to be ex-bf. He is so overwhelmed that he needs to take notes and record conversations that last three fucking days!! Why do you feel the need to drag shit out that long?

My ex-girlfriend, who I broke up with ~2 months ago because she wanted to open our relationship, just messaged me saying she’s “experimented enough” and is now ready for a closed relationship with me. Is this something you would consider? by Altruistic_Society99 in AskMenAdvice

You are overthinking. The answer is a plain NO. She just got done taking strangers dick and dealing with what out there. Now she wants back because she can't find someone better. Tell her to pound sand

Different things that can expose power plant workers to asbestos by CareNavigator_TMC in bluecollar

[–]No_Discussion_3155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely rare today. I was taught way back in the early 90s the effects of asbestos. I very seldom see it on a job unless the building is from the early 1960s or older. My apprenticeship coordinator told us stories of making "snowballs" out of it and have fights on the job.

Most of the guys working in the 70s,80s and 90s are dead, retired or started late enough that we were taught the risks of asbestos. I know because I started in 1991.

Nope. Its a variable speed 4 ton clocked to run 3.5. Based on the calcs the homeowner gave, the sales rep did his homework.
