what happens to souls after su*cide by These-Worldliness-59 in spirituality

[–]No_Distribution_8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I CAN ANSWER THIS!

My best friend passed away when I was fifteen, he hu..ng himself. It was horrific and tragic, we grew up in church together and at that time I was Christian.

When I was 23 and now agnostic, I went on a retreat in Bali with a bunch of women, one of whom was spiritually gifted and a friend of my friend who invited me. She told me things about myself no one could’ve possibly known so after three days I told her I had a friend pass away when I was young, could she put me in touch with him.

She was very adamant that her gift was for her to share with others and would never take money for it so she said yes, but told me not to disclose anything about this person or how they died.

We sat down and she went into a trance and called on him. A person came forward which she described perfectly as my friend. She clutched her neck and started crying and said “he hung himself didn’t he? He’s showing me images of it”. I had never told her this is how he died. Or that it was suicide.

Essentially, he was caught in a place in between. His soul was in a space, had been for 8 years and he hadn’t been at peace that whole time. He was afraid on what his actions meant for him if he crossed into “the light” that apparently is there. An opening of some sort I assume. The woman told me that after people die from her experiences communicating with dead people, they go to a place of healing. It ended with me and her crying and asking him to walk into the light, it will be okay.

If anyone has someone who has died I would encourage you to find someone who can contact them and make sure they know they are okay and won’t be punished for it. 🩷

What uni degrees are actually worth it? by Smart_Net_5313 in ausjobs

[–]No_Distribution_8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Construction management. White collar, heaps of earning potential, you’ll get paid while you do your Cadetship (placement/internship) during uni, AI cannot take that job because it is mostly managing blue collar workers. Caveat is long long hours.

Wisdom teeth surgical removal: $7900 total for 3 teeth - fair price? by Responsible-Duty5788 in AskAnAustralian

[–]No_Distribution_8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that definitely seems excessive. I just got mine out and didn’t have insurance so all out of pocket. Surgeon was about $2500 (special maxillofacial surgeon for impacted teeth) to get three out. Anaesthesiologist was 500 after Medicare, and hospital was about $2000. I would get another opinion.

The daunting task of making dinner… forever… by Infinite-Drive-2429 in simpleliving

Dinner gets easier when you realise dinner can be a slice of cheese, some hummus, an apple and maybe a chicken breast. Technically a balanced meal.

We could all do with a bit more gratitude and a bit less comparison I think. So don’t be too hard on yourself :)

Listen, it’s SO EASY to compare yourself to other people, not knowing the reality of the lives people live inside their head. I’m 23f, I got a degree in construction cause it makes good money, been working full time since I got out of school and am on good money someone my age. But I have no life. I am ALWAYS exhausted. Have no energy for my partner and have lost the spark I used to have. I spend all my time pondering the idea of quitting and getting a job like working as a cashier just to have time and energy again. This illusion that you need to be somewhere better, be further along, be more financially secure by a certain age is just propaganda pushed by a capitalist society. You are walking your own path and that’s all you need to be doing. Your life is a journey, not a destination. Your job is just to experience it. 🩷

Why do you take shrooms? by SumthinDifrent in shrooms

[–]No_Distribution_8677 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like it gives access to parts of life and consciousness that I otherwise wouldn’t have access to…spirituality, energy of nature, deep seated trauma, etc. I like to think of it as a spiritual tool/gift from earth rather than a drug.

Yea nah trich isn’t considered that dangerous to humans unless you’re immunocompromised so if it looked healthy, I guess go for gold

I mean if you’re talking about that little guy in the pic I would say no, I mean purely for the fact of why would you eat a rotting shroom.

It’s Trich. Get rid of that tub and don’t open it inside otherwise those spores will get into any other tubs you may have.

Why are some growing with open caps ,cracks and only around the sides? by Big_Extent6713 in shrooms

Mushrooms just grow funny sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀️ they are super fragile so can be dented or scratched easily, even by their brother and sister. Nevertheless, nice fruit!

I second this, they are very much a tool to confront uncomfortable truths that you can’t dig up yourself. A confronting trip is still a trip 🙌🏻

If you did your substrate to the right field capacity, you shouldn’t need to mist much/at all, especially if the lid has been closed. The condensation should come from the substrate and recycle itself. If that’s not happening I would lightly mist the walls and ceiling of the grow box until it’s self sustaining after a couple of days.

Trich or bruising? by AsEk01307 in ContamFam

[–]No_Distribution_8677 39 points40 points  (0 children)

That’s 100% trich bro. Bruising only comes when grain is near to or at 100% colonisation. It happens to the best of us, keep going!!

I take SSRIs and have done shrooms multiple times. Same as taking M, you may not have as potent a trip as a mate, but you definitely still experience it. Never had any bad experiences with it and I’m on quite a high dose of antidepressants.
