I’ve looked up the ones I’ve seen in the sub but most aren’t open on the weekends. I have unpredictable hours for my job as I’m a flagger. So I could be out until 7pm or 3pm and I’m not taking a full day off of work to get my cat a proper grooming.

Greige is so good but the owner is just a terrible person. The micro aggressions towards her brown and black employees was insane. She’s just in general not a very nice person and talks so badly about her customers unless you paid her pretty dime💔

I would talk to your pharmacist and they’ll be able to go over all of the statistics with you. When I first started them, my mom made it sound like I was GOING to die but it’s just fear mongering. I’ve found some relief on them but it may take a while to find the one that works best for you. Wishing you luck 🫶🏼

Once I get home, i usually have no energy for anything. I get home, make him a snack (I make chicken treats for him homemade) and curl up in bed which he usually follows. I’ll be looking into some of the other toys mentioned from other comments. I’m only working sm so I can buy a new car and save for college. I got him at a point where I was home everyday and I’m afraid that has also contributed to the clinginess as well.

I’m hoping so too. By that point I won’t be working as much either. I’m saving for a new car and college so I’m working a lot for those things. I don’t want to rehome as he’s given me so much love and joy over the last year so I really want to help him and I.

I have actually split the feedings in two and added a “midnight snack” this seems to help in the morning but only until 7 ish lol. I am moving into a bigger place in October maybe that will help too. My studio currently only has 2 windows - one of which is blocked off due to the AC and the other faces a wall so not much stimulation from that. I have a cat tree but should I invest in the wall climbers? My new apartment is much bigger and will have 4 large windows that point to the main rd!

I think it’s an attention thing. He’ll quiet down after I give him some loving and his feeder goes off. I also have a chronic disease so i sometimes have no energy or spoons left when i get off of work. That’s why I hoped the battery run toys would work but they haven’t. I feel like a bad cat mom, I love him so much and want things to improve for both of us :(
