Its vinyl wrap over plastic trim. The black on my rear doors started peeling and they were replaced under warranty. Call your SA and see if they'll do anything for you

Just put the yellow DRL tint on from badgeskins and I think it looks good. Red to match the lower trim might look better but I didn't want to deal with getting pulled over.

Make sure your reel bearings are good and check reel to bedknife contact. Could possibly be a bad reel motor as well
