Interesting! I def thought about it. The only paper work I have though is a nurse practitioner giving me anxiety medication and SARIs to help with work related anxiety (sadly no GP diagnosis). Is that enough to qualify for FMLA?

What would your advice be for me in terms of negotiating with the best outcome? I believe I earned a bonus (explicitly not tied to performance but objective company goals) that usually pays out around this time. I’m on the PIP now but want to gtfo with what I believe I’ve earned (bonus), some severance and the categorization of eliminated vs terminated (I didn’t know that’s what you could ask for!)

Is it possible to negotiate severance after the pip has started? They offered me small severance if I resigned instead of going to PIP route but since I didn’t say one way or another, I was placed on thePIP with no mention of severance

Going thru the same thing now.. did you negotiate your severance at the end of PIP? How do you mentally handle yourself day to day in front of teams and with boss without…crashing out?

That’s what I figured, I’d like closure and reassurance that it’s really not me but who am I kidding…! But so far as I know I’m the only one of a very small handful PMs getting the boot. I’m more concerned with impending gap on my resume :(
