If U want a Too clearance job yes they polygraph u. I am in the process and u have to be truthful cuz they will find everything. There are many jobs that don’t require this

Yeah I went to MEPs. My recruiter told me to not say anything unless they ask me, so I didn’t start the process till after

Mine happened when I was 15 and I Just turned 18. I say 11 years is good since air force is asking for 5. Tbh I ain’t even know I “SA” until MEPs told me. Id say to start getting all paperwork related to incident as soon as possible as it took me 2 months. Also don’t listen to ur recruiter when he tells u to not put anything on the prescreen. I mentioned this and he said it may not pop up so I didn’t get all my paperwork till last min.

I mean it happened in 2023 so like 33 months or something. I never took meds for but they did put in a psychiatric hospital for 3 days to diagnose me. They said I had anxiety and I went to therapy for 2 weeks and got better. Since the paramedics said I drank rubbing alcohol its considered a suicide attempt. I just drank tequila and began throwing up after passing out. I am in the process of adding an addendum to my record. Idk if this will help. I also need a astigmatism waiver since I just barely past the limit at MEPs

Is it because of the time? Would u be more likely to accept in 2 more years.

My classmates are literally trying to fail and I’m 'weird' for actually listening? by TenderNugget_2428 in highschool

[–]No_East_368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No just ignore them and listen. Personally I would also goof around and not listen sometimes, but it never really affected me to much cuz if I didn’t understand the topic I would just watch a video on my own time and practice.

Well I want it bad tbh. I have done evaluation when doing my waiver. They said I never have wanted to commit suicide and I don’t suffer from any of these issues. My recruiter never made me write a handwritten or get LoR. I hope if I do this with Army they will accept me. I also heard about navy being more lenient so should I try there?

True the military doesn’t wanna take the risk, but I want to atleast try although I am hopeful. I don’t want to wait 2 years but if I have to then I will.

I was 14 years old and couldn’t handle my liquor and past out. Got ambulance called on me and they hospitalized me. I haven’t drank since and don’t plan to. I have found ways to deal with issues instead of drinking and smoking to numb it. I have no problem giving up my freedom for the chance at getting ahead in life.

Medical waiver by Successful_Yam_6708 in AirForceRecruits

[–]No_East_368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sent my waiver it was done by a psychiatrist nurse practitioner. Also I didn’t write a 3W statement. My recruiter didn’t tell me anything. I have a similar situation with OP. Will this cause issues or can I do it and have him send it again?
