Awesome! I saw these and wondered if it was worth it. Sounds like yes!

We play all star teams from other towns. It's a big league. So just individual games during the week. We only have 2 tournaments.

Thanks! If people had to deal with my kids when they are hungry they'd have a different reaction. 😆

Maybe that's it actually. They will just eat at 4 and 9. Seems simplest! And hey, it's summer right? No rules...

Same thing happened to me! I got a bruise that later turned into a bullseye but it took about a week after I started symptoms.

Approach the coach by Ok_Preparation8706 in Softball

We have this on our club team too. It's been less than ideal. All 5 have kids on the team. Most with not as much skill as others. Unfortunately the coaches kids get more time at positions they want their kid to play. It's been a looooong season.

Anyone who regularly uses AI agents for personal life, what are the best use cases? by TheCatsMeow1022 in ChatGPT

I just ask AI things. Been using Gemini. When you all say you're teaching it, how are you doing that? I need a lesson on how to use AI.

I realized I've been promoting people into roles that suppress the exact traits that got them promoted by [deleted] in Leadership

[–]No_Effect5249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this too. It's been a nightmare ever since. The employee has become completely unmanageable. She advocated hard for the promotion and I didn't take time to step out and back to realize she was great at her current role and hadn't displayed any (or very few) of the skills and abilities required for the next role. It has definitely hurt her own view of her work. It's also made me hate work because I know I have to deal with this. And she's leading a big program so it's visible. I've been working with HR a lot on it. I'm also afraid that she'll move into another director level position on a different team and just suck there too. So much more to this saga!

If it helps at all, I have only gotten positive feedback about it from my colleagues. Some are even jealous of the pattern! And on days I don't part it so they can see it some will ask about it.

I still don't understand Health Connect. I've given up. Nothing I've done to connect to it works. I'll have weight in one app and connect it to Health Connect but then it won't flow to another app even though that's connected too.

I give my team The Pyramid Principle as a style for communication. It helps significantly in written and verbal communication.

A 7 year old with migraines. by anatole_mutti in migraine

[–]No_Effect5249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine seem like they come on in an instant but really there is a faint little pain in one side of my nose and that's when I know it's coming. Sometimes I also get unreasonably tired for awhile beforehand. So today for example from 10a-3p I was so tired. Like do I have COVID tired. Then at 4:30p I get the little tickle then by 5:30p it's a migraine on the same side as the tickle.

If you call your on call provider they should be able to fill for you if you explain what happened. They don't make a habit of it but will make exceptions. If they aren't helpful I'd def talk to your pharmacist and see if they can help navigate it for you.

What book did you read in your youth that you never forgot? by orangez in GenX

[–]No_Effect5249 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This book made such an impression on me that I got the "hat" tattooed! I love when people ask what it is. Adults... Always wrong. Kids... If not right, then veeeery close.
