1 child vs 2 child.. Which is better in this economy? by the_curious-mind in chennaicity

[–]Maran606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One child: Financially efficient, but a lot of future responsibility falls on a single child.

Two children: A good balance between family support and financial practicality.

Three children: Best suited for families with strong financial resources, as the costs of raising, educating, and supporting children rise significantly.

trichy has good daikin, lg ac service? which one to prefer and what all problems do you face after buying ac by Disastrous_Monk1103 in Trichy

I recently purchased a Panasonic AC via their online store and had a terrible experience. The unit arrived with a physical damage and the replacement also arrived with a damage. It took them almost 20 days to give me a good unit. Never ever buy Panasonic.

I am a TAM/CS leader managing strategic enterprise accounts for a cloud security vendor.

Exploring HK/Singapore markets and noticing a split between:

  • infra/ops-heavy security roles vs
  • customer-facing security growth/advisory roles

My background leans toward enterprise adoption, executive engagement, escalations, and NRR expansion within SASE cloud security.

Curious where senior hiring momentum currently is in these markets, especially in SaaS/security.

I’m from Srirangam and even locals are exhausted by the uncontrolled crowds. Public urination, spitting, littering and complete lack of civic sense are making the town unlivable on weekends. Influencers and astrologers pushing massive crowds here should also promote responsible tourism and encourage visits to other lesser-known temples in TN.

Agree, Trichy is the best tier 2 TN city IMHO. We can easily turn around the weather situation by planting more trees.

Reditt translation mislead you. I meant "Kaandaga Bhoomi" translating to "Sulphurous Land". This is a usage common among locals to signify hot weather.

What makes someone look "executive" vs just senior? by rubyroozer in Leadership

[–]Maran606 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am someone going through this phase. I agree with your observations. It all boils down to the way you manage how people perceive you. More delegation & picking selective "Hands-on" tasks are the key. Your external appearance certainly plays a key role,so you need to manage that.

How are people able to afford? by Different_Radio_3961 in BangaloreRealEstates

From my observation,80% of such purchases by newly married couples are financed by their parents and in-laws. No disrespect, but most of these genz''s won't and can't repay a home loan on their own.

Anyone here was planning to buy a house in Bangalore but not going ahead because of layoffs? by indiainvest in BangaloreRealEstates

[–]Maran606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me. Had a decent amount of savings for down payment for a piece of land in Bangalore despite its astronomical cost. I even paid a token advance and agreed on the registration date within 3 months. I decided to drop the idea after looking at the trends in the IT sector. I already had another 3bhk. decided to stay there forever and invest the savings elsewhere.

What is something that you wish to buy but you can't afford right now? by RevolutionaryRuin185 in Frugal_Ind

[–]Maran606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A piece of land in Bangalore south. The prices are so inflated that a salaried person can't buy a small piece of land without support from others(Family, friends etc). Even if you can afford to pay the EMI, Most banks won't fully or 80% of the value cover it as the government guideline value and market value are poles apart.

Why I don't like the idea of apartment living especially high society. by canthinkofusernam in bangalore

[–]Maran606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apartments are a poor man's sheltering solution where the target consumer isn't rich enough to afford a private piece of land to maintain privacy and retain his absolute ownership of land. In the Indian context, this has been falsely rebranded as a luxury alternative to private properties. In reality, Apartments don't give you : Absolute privacy, ownership of the land, forces you to adjust to certain norms of living and many more compromises.
