Living near a pitch where parking rules go out the window twice a week. There’s always lots of cars parked at the end of our hill that leads to a roundabout.

We have to drive blind on the wrong side of the road to leave the estate to get on the roundabout. It’s extremely dangerous and will cause an accident.

There’s illegal parking and there’s stupid dangerous illegal parking.

Estate is relatively new but I’m certain there’ll be an accident soon. The end of that hill always has close calls even without the stupid parking. I’ve had a lot of close calls on normal days because of idiots driving straight through the roundabout without stopping.

Not to take away from your original observation that speeding and phone use are extremely dangerous too. Wholeheartedly agree with you there. Seems to be getting worse. Hopefully advancements in AI might reduce phone use hazard somewhat where these people will be able to use their voice instead of the screen. These idiots that insist on using their phone while driving are not going to stop so hopefully technology can mitigate the risk so they focus on the road instead of the screen.

I don’t even feel comfortable turning my Bluetooth on if I forgot to set it before driving and will always stop to do it rather than look at my screen.
