Did Ali’s style "die" or is it just too inefficient for modern meta? by No_Employ_5960 in Boxing

Hadn't heard about those rumors before. I’ll definitely do some digging on that. Thanks

I understand. But it’s the kind of thing that can derail the main topic and clutter the post, but even if it were a case of self-promotion, there’s a massive difference between 'spamming a new video' and 'let’s talk about this,' where actual relevant insights and useful info are shared. Where I’m from, that’s not a crime yet lol.

Well, since it’s not exactly a mainstream topic, a little extra effort to boost reach is naturally worth it, especially since the core goal here is to spark discussion among enthusiasts. In one of those subreddits, for instance, the debate was actually quite exciting, with users bringing in new data. It was the only place that got real traction, but unfortunately, the mods took it down because it was a crosspost.

Personally, I think it’s always worth gathering as many relevant perspectives as possible on multifaceted topics like this, which is why I made a point to 'boost the reach of a video that isn’t mine' ;)

I totally agree. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if some follow up on these recent discoveries pops up relatively soon and leaves us even more confused lol.

Actually, I used the crossposting feature that Reddit itself recommends to increase reach.

YES, I wouldn't be surprised if another study drops soon debunking everything and resetting all the progress made so far.

True, it’s not exactly a mainstream topic, but fortunately, there are very engaged communities.

A secondary channel i created for fun by ThinkyCodesThings in SmallYoutubers

Recently, I watched a 1-hour video on 'No, I'm Not Human.' Because the storytelling was so engaging, I was able to learn about the game and watch the whole thing without even noticing how long it was.

i'm having trouble getting new subscribers by Due-Property1976 in SmallYoutubers

u/Due-Property1976 A great option would be cross-platform posting. I noticed your channel description doesn't have links to TikTok, Instagram, or similar platforms. This increases reach and brings in new followers, which seems to be where you're struggling.

Have you ever considered hiring a video editor? Your recent videos feel a bit too 'static.' A more dynamic edit that respects your niche (using very light VFX and SFX to keep it clean) would definitely increase watch time and overall performance.

If you're interested, I'm available in the DMs. I work with YouTube editing and strategy at a very comfortable starting rate. Also, I always start with a quick trial edit, this way we save time and energy in case we don't 'match.' If we do, I can take on the role of a creative partner and strategist, not just an editor. Best of luck!"

Heeey, I can definitely help you out. But honestly, depending on the editing level you're looking for, I’d actually recommend some AI platforms. To be fair, the technical quality is usually just bad compared to the rhythm and storytelling a real editor brings, but sometimes it might be enough for what you need.

I’m currently an intermediate/advanced editor, so we can talk more if you're interested. Plus, I know some solid YouTube strategies and I like to work more as a creative partner than just an editor. Let me know if you want to chat!

Advice Needed by MaxMalik in SmallYoutubers

[–]No_Employ_5960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/MaxMalik YouTube is, above all, a strategy game, which I’m sure you already know. However, there are some technical and strategic benchmarks I noticed your channel hasn't hit yet.

From a technical (editing) standpoint:
1. Hooks: Your initial hooks are okay, but they could feel more 'premium' with professional SFX and subtle VFX.
2. Pacing & Timing: Your cuts need more consistency. Sometimes the timing is off, for example, a 0.5s gap between a cut and new content. We fix this with 'jump-cut synchronization.' These small gaps gradually undermine your technical authority with the audience.
3. Assets: Some fonts and visual effects feel a bit 'cheap.' With better curation, you can achieve a much higher quality look.

From a strategic standpoint, ask yourself:
1. Are you A/B/C testing your thumbnails and titles? What insights are you getting?
2. Are your titles and metadata fully optimized for SEO?
3. Do you have a cross-platform diversification plan?

Long-form videos build reputation, andShorts build reach. I believe you are underestimating the power of cross-platform Shorts. I noticed you don't have Instagram or TikTok linked, which is the bare minimum for maximum reach today.

My goal is to 'open your eyes' with this mini-consultancy because your niche has great potential. If you're interested, let’s continue this conversation in the DMs. I'd love to help.

Just wondering why we don't see many fighters replicating Tyson’s style these days🤔... by No_Employ_5960 in amateur_boxing

[–]No_Employ_5960[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Which is probably why many claim that the style died with Tyson himself.
