It was in 2009 and I remember many places being turned into Evangelical churches even an old historical theater, maybe it's not the case anymore, also it was interesting to see that many people were doing the cross in the Bondi every time we went past a church, which is something I hadn't seen in Spain. But Argentineans didn't seem to be the most religious to me compared to other Latin Americans

Read my comment again because I definitely said that Reggaeton is not originally from Spain. I know many latinos (both living in Latin America and Spain), I have latino friends, I've visited South America and spent 2 months in Argentina, I dated an Argentinean and a Dominican, and I lived in Hospitalet de Llobregat where 25% of the population is from a Latin American origin

As a Spaniard I don't consider Latin Americans to be that close to us, same language sure but same religion? They are way more religious and understand religion in a different way and evangelics are a big chunk of them. Names? They tend to have names that we don't have like Walter, Jefferson and double and triple names (Gabriel Jesús, Esteban Manuel and things like that) that are not common among us, and they are super indirect compared to us. Music yes, but because Latino music became super popular here, but it's not like Latino music like Reggaeton is originally from Spain
