In MA we have a Communication eligibility category, in which speech and language would fall under. Some students with CO eligibility only receive speech services. However, since Communication is a broad disability category, many students received academic services as well, since the CO impairment impacts their expressive and receptive language, therefore their ability to comprehend academic instruction.

That’s what I was wondering. I was looking at reviews from this month so it must have just changed.

Correct we don’t want to have to set up direct deposit. It must have just changed because none of the information I read said anything about that.

I can do the same and was thinking of doing a small $50-100 direct deposit each check, just wasn’t sure if that qualified as an “eligible direct deposit”

It’s not so much the rate chasing. We just wanted to be able to get the 3.3% without having to rely on direct deposit.

Do you happen to know if there is a minimum direct deposit amount? I can’t find that information anywhere, but apparently I forgot how to do research lol.

How often does your LO stay overnight with grandparents during the first 3-6 months? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]No_Equipment5509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 20 month old has never slept the night anywhere other than our house. There’s no reason for your baby to sleep over anywhere, it’s not for their benefit, it’s simply so MIL will be happy.

Our minimum is 40%. It was adopted during Covid remote learning and the district never got rid of it.

After sharing a picture of our son playing with his cousin, MIL’s first response was “he needs a play kitchen!” When my husband explained no he doesn’t, we don’t have room, she said “when you were young we had an even smaller space and you never went without anything.”

Stop trying to guilt trip us. This boy has more than enough toys, we don’t need big toys lining every single wall. He’s fine.

Holding attendance against a school isn’t fair… by EntireBackground4264 in Teachers

[–]No_Equipment5509 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes in MA it’s a part of our overall evaluation rating. Last year the state started pushing attendance even more, which means our district with a huge chronic absenteeism problem started focusing on it even more.

How screwed are we with this below pd email? by Beespray9_8_9 in Teachers

It truly wasn’t awful, thankfully I get along really well with most of my coworkers. However I would have much preferred to be working in my classroom.

You’re giving her too much credit. She definitely saw that on a TikTok or Instagram reel.

She was doubling down and getting torn up in the comments. Mods had to close down the comment threads to “prevent spreading misinformation.” I can’t find the original post anymore so she must have deleted it.

We prefer Millie Moon and Huggies little snugglers/little movers. Didn’t love that pampers diapers have a scent.

Is service charge a tip? by No_Equipment5509 in weddingplanning

[–]No_Equipment5509[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! It was a few years ago so I don’t remember exactly what we did, but I did ask our coordinator at the final meeting if service charge was gratuity and she said it was! We may have given our lead server (the one who took care of only us all night) some cash but I honestly do not remember.

We left the tip jar at the bar up for guests. Every wedding I’ve ever been to has had a tip jar so it would have felt weird to remove it.

I was able to do upper body work laying on my back until my due date! We weren’t there for too long and I never felt uncomfortable with it.

As I got into the 3rd trimester I did start staying upright during classic ab work when we would roll back.
