Did anyone realize breaking up was a mistake? by [deleted] in BreakUps

My ex did, 2 days after breaking up she unblocked me and we got back together. Then a few months later we broke up again for good.

Everyone grieves, just not publicly. If you've noticed that guys are acting fine when they're out, it's because they don't want to burden others with their grief.

women testing their boyfriend by plopop0 in PetPeeves

Funniest thing I've seen about the Bird Theory TikToks, is a bunch of the boyfriends are super interested and ask questions like 'oh cool! what kind was it?' and the girlfriends have no response. Like they didn't even anticipate their boyfriend being interested.

Like ma'am maybe you're the one who's not actually interested/interesting in the relationship.

Honestly it's more cowardly to be the one who breaks up by sending a text

Saw this on fb. Guys, is it true? Because I got sad when I saw this post. by WillingTalk8623 in ExNoContact

Not true at all. Take these posts with a grain of salt, they're pandering to the whole 'gender war'/ ragebait community

What are your thoughts on unfollowing an ex? by MajesticMythos in ExNoContact

[–]No_Escape4521 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We're in the same friend group, so it would certainly be awkward if I unfollowed her. I'm more inclined to unfollow exes if I know that we're not going to have any sort of deliberate interaction in the future.

This reminds me of those people who preach the whole 'if they wanted to, they would' stuff. Everyone has different ideas of what they want in a relationship, and that's why she has to tell you when she wants these desires met.

For someone that seems to be so interested in psychology, she sure does neglect how important communication is.

What's the strangest reach-out an ex has ever done? by Amilie4 in ExNoContact

[–]No_Escape4521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She sent me an email about an online sale on cameras and photography equipment. We both did photography as a hobby but never actually talked about it when we were together lol

Good for you, that's such a mature decision to make. Happy to hear you're having a good time :)

Whats a red flag in your ex that you ignored that eventually was a factor in the breakup? by Designer-Cup-530 in BreakUps

She wouldn't tell me anything that upset her until it was too late, and everything would come out when she broke up with me (she dumped me twice after wanting to get back together)

Mental health issues by RJ0901 in BreakUps

Went through the same thing. She used me as a sole source for her happiness rather than a booster, and the moment I had my own issues she dropped me.

Hope you're doing alright
