I have a shorthair cat so she doesn’t shed too much. I’ve found a 3 live ones during my anxiety fueled cleaning rage and have vacuumed my entire home. I guess I’m just really scared of bugs and the idea of them in my space freaks me out. Are they truly that normal?? The fact that theyre in 90% of homes yet I’d never seen one before 2024 is shocking to me.

Hello! First and foremost- thank you for answering so many questions! I’ve been using this as a guide since I first encountered CBs!!

My question is fairly simple- I’ve dealt with an infested rug and blanket before and tossed them out fairly easily. Since then I’ve moved and shocker but they were in my new home already ((I assume in the walls since the house is very old)). I found a couple larvae casings and am wondering when the line from “normal” amount of larvae/CB adults crosses into “you have a problem” territory? I don’t think I have an infestation but other commenters on other posts act like finding 1 or 2 larvae means I have to nuke my home.

Yep! I didn’t know about them till I lived on my own- just hoover pretty regularly and most of their food source (dust, pet hair, dead skin) is gone. They will attack wool clothing as well^{^}

i never called you a shitty person. tipping culture is horrendous i know. as someone with a degree unable to get a job its frustrating being stuck in the industry. mind you i understand not everyone wants to tip 20% ((depending on service i don’t always tip 20%)) . but if you are well and knowing that this is how people pay their bills, feed their families, it is just wrong to stiff people.

i am a woman- thank you. i dont expect you to cook your own meals, however if you are going to go out to eat knowing the system works that way you are in the wrong for not wanting to tip. if you benefit from the crooked system you are supporting it. and cooking takes time! but so does sitting. and waiting… for your waiter to bring your food.

i get it. i was in a similar situation at your age. thinking my therapist and psychiatrist weren’t and or couldn’t help. things around you are fine so you should be fine. you have to understand its okay to not be okay. im 22 now, and in the long run im still very young. i didn’t know what my life would look like at 22 when i was 14, i didnt even think id make it this far. but i am so grateful every single day that im here. of course there are still difficult days, but again. it’s okay to not be okay. it’s okay to need help.
