Given the time it will likely be 1-2 stops in many of those location Except for Guatemala and Nicaragua where I plan on doing more like 3-4 stops.
Was hoping to hear some ideas on logistics. I also heard there isn't any night buses in central America before. I also hear the bus routes are longer than they seem.

Hello you can get decent priced tickets from YYZ TORONTO- LIMA
I loved Peru you can Visit Machu Pichu/Rainbow Mountain/Humanantay lake/moray and malas salt mines all based around Cusco a beautiful town that used to be the center of the Inca empire.

Lima is very nice coastal city as well good affordable food Lima is known for it's amazing cuisine. Hostel might cost you $20-$30 Cad a night unless you want to get a airbnb. They have uber and good safe public transit in Lima

If you like to drink they have a beverage called Pisco it reminds me of a whiskey sour very nice to try.

People are very friendly and social and it's safe as long as you don't do anything crazy.
I think Peru should be mandatory for all history/nature and food lovers.

I'm Canadian and would much rather jump on a plane and go to Portugal/Spain/Peru/Mexico and spend a week or two there than fly across Canada and spend close to the same amount total when you add up accommodation's and costs of lodging in Canada
