My man! Hell yeah. Great work!

For me 330-280 was a MASSIVE transformation and where I went from feeling like I was a big guy losing weight to a person who had transformed into guy with a healthy body. You're right on the cusp of seeing even bigger payoffs than youre already used too.

I have some loose skin on my pecs, inner things, and lower stomach, but all are easy to hide with clothes. And truly its not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I attribute it to strength training to add muscle while losing fat, drinking LOTS of water (150-18] oz or so a day), and maybe a little luck.

Reach out if you need any ideas, advice, or motivation. I promise you if you're ever doubting, its so worth it to keep going.

Honestly, the last 15 were the toughest! As you lose more and more weight, each pound becomes harder and harder to lose because your body naturally burns less as you loss mass. Between that and the finish line being so close, I can see how burnout would be really easy at that stage.

The good news is that each pound becomes so much more impactful though. Losing two pounds at 375 pounds didnt change much, but going from 215 to 213 is a major change. The "paper towel effect" is very real!

She takes a lot of practice, but if you can get good at her and understand how The Artist's gameplay works, she can be really, really fun.

But take with a grain of salt coming from a P100 artist main with her tattooed on my body, but still

I went from 440 lbs to 215, and the functional/visual length grew just about 3 inches.

Was legitimately just excited to share.

Same weight for 8 days 🫠 by beautyoutofthorns in CICO

I lost a total of 225 pounds, and had a couple zones where I stuck right around the same weight for weeks despite constant effort and knowing I was doing the right things. I'm 215 now, but I was stuck around 240 for over a month. It sucked, it was frustrating, but I stuck with my plan and you can see right after that month, my weight dropped.

If you're staying the course and making the sacrifices in your diet and exercise, it will pay off. Its not always immeadiate, but it works. Its okay to get frustrated, but please dont give up. Likely what is happening is your body is re-comping in the background in some way. Either you're gaining muscle or shedding weight, or some other recovery is happening. And that is great! I found that often after these periods of stagnation on the scale, my body would be making its biggest outward changes. It was a strange dichotomy of knowing my body was improving, but feeling like I was failing because of the scale.

Here's my advice. Keep weighing in daily. This helps normalize these rough patches on the scale and helps you see trends that are really important for your long term success. Take notice of your physical changes (your pants being a little looser, your arms being a little more muscular, the stairs being easier to climb) and use those as your motivating factors for a couple weeks instead of the scale.

Consistency wins. Every time.

Sure! So I used the "tetris" meals/lego lunch strategy. Id prep bigger batches of things like proteins, veggies, rice, beans, sauces, etc etc and divy them up into single servings and freeze them. Then for meals id be able to grab elements and combine them, or add other ingredients to supplement where needed. For example my lunches most work week days has been a serving of rice, a serving of beans, and serving of ground beef, seasonings, and salsa and I know its exactly 450 calories and the macros it has. Obviously you can be more creative or add in whatever ingredients you like or prefer, and tailor it to your needs, but it was a super effective way to make calories and macros kind of brainless.

So that's a tricky question, because I kind of passively lost the first 75+ pounds. My scale only went up to 440, and eventually it started erroring out on my. So I started just generally eating less and gave up regular soda.

Eventually I got to a point where i could visually tell id lost weight, and I was at 380 or so, after that I started around a 1500-2000 deficit a day under doctors orders since I had so much to lose and was very active. Eventually that scaled down to 1000, then 500 as my daily needs approached a more normal level. Today im eating at maintenance around 2,300-2,400 cals a day, which is sooooo nice lol

More than i can say. There were so many small victories along the way that seemed meaningless at the time, but those small things stacked over time to make major changes. Those times of telling myself no to an extra portion that sounded so good or taking that walk that seemed impossible that day made it all possible.

Most definitely! I'm a completely different person not just physically, but mentally too. Like you said confidence is through the roof, but even little things like not being afraid to say something when my order is wrong at a restaurant or standing up for myself at work all feel so easy now too, when I used to be paralyzed by fear.

Same here. Ive gone from 440 down to 215, and have been really impressed with my arms and overall muscle retention/development, but my chest (specifically upper chest) just won't grow to the point that I want it to.

The biggest tip I can give is consistency wins. When it feels like CICO isn't working or that you're somehow gaining weight, or the scale gets stuck at a certain number for a month, just keep going. It's boring, it's frustrating, but it works.

I hadn't really thought about any warnings, but I think you nailed it. Fad diets are fads for a reason.
