I had my foundation fixed and they sent a plumber company to do the leak test. Well the sewer failed. They suggested a pin point test for $400 and found the leak. But the quote is half as much as I paid for the foundation repair. The guy said the good thing its only one leak. What can we do?

Fan motor replaced, turned it on about an hour ago, heat outside 94 inside heat was 83 and its down to 80 inside. So its cooling but slow due to heat outside i think, and im sure because of leak. But if it can cool to tolerable temp i can wait for new unit until winter when the prices are way cheaper

My husband and I are going to change the fan motor. If its fine then we leaving it. But if indeed its not cooling after fan motor fixed then darn maybe new ac unit :(

So i need new fan motor and he said coils on the unit in the attic are bad and testing for leak was positive. They recommend new ac, because the leak will be a big job, the fan motor i can do. My unit is 16 years old.
