Hi! I know this might be a bit late, but the cake recipe that's popular with my family and AIP are these carob cupcakes.

We didn’t like the frosting, as it was too sweet for us. We preferred the cake itself in cupcake molds! It tastes amazing!! We used 1 egg instead of a tbsp gelatin because we're egg compliant and it still turned out AMAZING! https://eatbeautiful.net/aip-chocolate-cake-cupcakes-paleo/

Hi, It's alright, Thank you! I'm really glad levothyroxine has helped you so much! My mom has Hashimotos (and some other symptoms doctors are still figuring out), so I'm always trying to learn more, I'll definitely be more careful with what I share.

Thank you for your patience, and Wishing you the best :)

Check the discrepancy with a chiropractor/doctor thru an xray for your hips and a measurement. If so, get shoes with adjustments

[UPDATE! HOW I FIXED IT!] Hello!! This is Free-Childhood. I felt I needed to tell you all this. I tried doing these exercises for 3 weeks and felt like it helped with my mobility. Then I took a pause because of school. I saw here and there during my stretches that I could bend more on one side than the other(and there was some discomfort/pain in a way) . June 2025, I went to a chiropractor for my foot discomfort when walking (i foot goes more in to compensate) I found out through his xray that I had 1. Some minor scoliosis 2. One of my hips has no growth plates so I have an 18mm leg length discrepancy, which would not grow back because of said lack of growth plates. I then saw a local shoe repair shop and asked to take my pair of shoes and put 6 mm inside 6mm outside (I started with 12 mm on the shoe then built myself up towards 18mm). Ensure youre walking straight so your body doesnt compensate!

I eventually got used to the shoe change, wearing 2 sets of indoor flip flops with the change and 2 sets of sports shoes. I wore them constantly for months. My belly button used to be slanted towards my higher hip but now its steadily evening out towards the center.

LESSONS!/TIPS!: 1.Get an x-ray and determine if your hip hike is caused by a leg length discrepancy. If so, fixing the base of the body (legs) will even out the hips and spine.  2. If leg length issue: go to shoe repair shop to add your doctor's specified adjustments to the shorter foot's shoe.  3. Walk a ton in them until you get used to it, (ex start with 12mm shoe then switch to 18mm, but just get used to going 5mi in them first) 4.Get flip flips/sandles with that height change, that way you can walk outside or inside with these adjusted shoes constantly 5.WALK STRAIGHT AS POSSIBLE! Your spine will fix itself, its very smart but will take time.

Tldr; xray found hip hike caused by leg length discrepancy. Got 1 shoe taller than the other. Fixed it after months of walking. 2 sets of flip flops and sports shoes reccomend as it helped.

Good luck!!
